Commentator has just said Jackson was a good buy for 32 million and people were criticising Chelsea's transfer policy. I think we were criticising spending 1/2 billion on so many players. You will get some right if you do that but it's hardly beyond criticism is it.
Jackson was missing some sitters last season, but he's young and inexperienced and he was getting in the right positions. He only really had one full season of first team football before they signed him and it showed. He didn't let his head drop though and kept putting himself in the firing line. Now he's scoring regularly and keeping Nkunku on the bench, despite the Frenchman getting 6 goals in 5 in the Europa Conference.
Thinking that Wout Faes was an adequate replacement for Wesley Fofana goes a long way to explaining why Leicester were in the Championship last season...
He’s genuinely awful. One of the pound for pound worst CBs I’ve seen in a long while, crazy he continuously makes the Belgian squad too. From Kompany, Toby, Jan and Vermaelen to this guy. What a drop off.

Henderson saves Tielemans’ penalty and within a minute Palace go up the other end and score to go 2-1 up. Love those sorts of goals, from dreading going down a goal to banging one in yourselves.
If Spurs want a young manager who knows the club and the top flight then Michael Carrick ticks many boxes. Boro scoring lots of goals recently.
