There was a rumour that Chelsea would decline to play in the Conference as it would make them subject to the tougher UEFA regulations without bringing in enough income to compensate.

Then they should be penalised by the FA for
potentially weakening the UEFA "nation coefficient"
for the England leagues.

Similarly, I contend that punishment should be that if
you immediately fall afoul of the FFP regimes for the
lowest level UEFA competition, you should not be
able to participate in the higher level ones.

The best possible play off final fixture for saints, having already beaten Leeds twice this season. Knew exactly how to negate them.

Having followed the championship quite closely this season, it’s hard to think Leeds won’t be in the premier league next year. Beat both Leicester and Ipswich home and away, and played arguably the best football in the league.
Brutal league, and one which they could find themselves struggling to get out of.

Difficult to say what’ll happen over the summer in how the promoted teams will strengthen, but I will not be at all surprised to see all 3 coming straight back down again.

I wanted a Leeds win.

There’s always the feel of a big(ish) club about them when you face them and usually a decent atmosphere whereas Southampton bore the tits off me, there’s such an irrelevant feel about them when in the Prem.

Then there were also the factors that Leeds coming up would’ve practically guaranteed a permanent sale of Rodon whilst we could’ve also taken advantage of Southampton by getting KWP back, which now feels unlikely.

The fact people hate Leeds is another reason why they should’ve wanted them back in the Prem. Brings atmosphere to games.

There ain’t a single fanbase in the Prem that’ll get excited for a Southampton game. They’re like Fulham, Burnley etc. Just one of those irrelevant clubs that are there to make up the numbers with a dead fanbase, lol.

It's especially not good news for us because those bastards keep taking points off us every season ffs. Proper bogey team.
