2 seasons ago, IIRC, it got to about this stage of the season, and Arsenal played 3 teams. I think it was crystal palace, Brighton and west ham (but I could be wrong). I seem to remember their results being 3 x 3-0 defeats. With that, as well as the capitulation against Newcastle at the end of the season, it cost them 4th place, when it looked like we didn’t have a hope in hell at one point of securing that spot over them.
then last season, they spent 247 days top of the league and didn’t win it.
You have to wonder if that’s going to begin to haunt the players again this season. Perhaps today was the start of a psychological battle with themselves.

Caught between the devil and the deep blue on results today ,great to see Arse and scouse lose but City on top and villa pulling away, all in all gutted that we made such a **** up yesterday
