Not yet (they are still in reach of the EL slots) .

"Abject from the Hammers."

It did help them lot get their GD on parity with
Citeh and the Poool (doing their bit for the "neutrals" ) .

Yeah their league position isn’t bad and they’re still in Europe (I think) but their fans have been on his back for ages.

Because the style is quite defensive, once the results dry up then he doesn’t get given sympathy by them because being bad to watch and losing is a combo no fan likes.

IMHO if they had not won the EL2 last season,
Moyes would have been out. I suspect that
the moment there is no UEFA land for them
next season + no threat of relegation, he will be gone.

Yeah winning that bought him time and glossed over the style. He’s done well there but this season should definitely be his last.

Gotta give Villa credit for their efforts this season. Emery’s done a great job. But it’ll be interesting to see how they manage Europe at the business end of the season, when there will also be inevitable injuries and fixture congestion.
Unless we fall apart (which is entirely possible knowing us) we should be finishing in the top 4.

West Ham have had that result coming for a long time. Even when we lost to them, the first half was a training match and had we not been without our scoring boots and multiple players out injured, we probably also would've been 4-0 up by HT.

I wonder if Bowen is regretting signing that ridiculously long new contract last season?

Iirc his contract is up at the end of the season and tbh the players are playing like they know it isn't going to be renewed.
