I've got a couple of issues with the scheduling this week. 8pm on Saturday is just ****, but this game seems particularly unnecessary. There's an early game and a late game already, so why have a late, late one? The Sunday match is also stupid. Villa host West ham and they're both in Europe during the week. Yes, they're playing on Thursday, but they also have to travel. We all know that the Premier League and FA don't care about the fans. They also don't really care about the clubs. How many neutrals are even going to watch the Manyoo game at that time?
Don't worry, the Saltypudlians will be along shortly to gaslight us and say they have the most unfair set of fixtures every single week...
No, we're being made to play on Monday and then Friday and then on Monday again! Then we're early Saturday, 2pm Sunday and then 4.30pm Sunday. We've got two Saturday 3pms lined up in December after that, but they'll change.
Tonight's game between Rotherham and Ipswich has been called off due to flooding. The River Don burst it's banks and the New York Stadium is ****ed. Ipswich fans were already making the journey, which takes more than 3 hours. Should've been called off earlier.
Is there any worse Premier League derby than the Merseyside Derby? Every season it seems to be the same: Everton **** their pants before kickoff and play like they believe there's landmines on the other side of the halfway line regardless of whether they are in form or the crybabies aren't, get overrun for 90 minutes so the only way they are likely to get a point is if the conspiracy nutters can't find the back of the net, and the only variation is whether they get a player sent off or not
How many gifted pens is that for Varpool this season so far, and all of them dodgy. Meanwhile Spurs are still waiting for their first, despite several clear ones being waved away. This kind of benefit of doubt officiating makes a massive difference.
Tsimikas committed at least three yellow-worthy challenges, doesn't even get one Konate committed a straight red-worthy challenge, gets a yellow Pawson will be celebrating in the home dressing room at full time, that's for sure
Everton had to commit at that point and that striker they put on was ineffective. Great pass by Nunez though, as the defender covered the angles as well as he could.
