People have been laying into TAA all season but Robertson's positioning and awareness in both of Wolves' opening goals is frankly abysmal. He might as well be sat in the stands watching for all the use he is.
TAA has gone the same way as Dele Alli, peaked young, got the big contract, got the dreadlocks and form then fell off a cliff. He is more worried about image than football these days, just like Dele.
When the Poool are rampant and camped in the opponent half, TAA not having core defensive ability can be tolerated. When not so, then all such players become a liability.
Anyone seen this snippet of an absolutely bizarre rant by Southampton’s Nathan Jones? He claims he was one of the best coaches in Europe when he was in charge of *checks notes* Stoke City and Luton Town? Then he says the reason for Southampton’s poor results is because he’s had to make compromises due to other people/factors? Doesn’t seem like most pleasant bloke to be leading a team. Looks well out of his depth and it seems like the fans and players know it too. Saints midfielder Romeo Lavia was caught listening on a ‘Jones Out’ Twitter space yesterday:
I can understand giving Marsch the boot, but the timing is rather risky. Leeds' next two fixtures are Man Utd and Man Utd!
It's nice of the Premier League to charge City today. We've just played them twice in two weeks, while Arsenal are just about to play them for the first time. That's not in any way dubious or suspicious. Honest.
