Completely irrelevant anyway YV, ITV say Man U winning the FA Cup is an inevitability so who are we to even discuss this, let's move on to the 2014 FA Cup or focus on the league
Talking about Scholes,I've always said it was a demand from Ferguson to buy the best scorers for their attack and a lot of thugs behind them. Well,it's certainly worked over the years, hasn't it?They've even come up with a few thugs in the forward line too!
Everybody including me thought it would be an easy win for Chelsea and maybe they did too. Seriously, what's going wrong there? They were gifted two goals at Stoke and a penalty so 0-4 vastly flattered them although their supporters couldn't see that. They lost to a relegation candidate and now they've drawn with one. It will be interesting to see what happens when they meet a form team. COHII(Come On Whoever It Is)
De Gea, Evans, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Cleverley, Carrick, Scholes, Young, Kagawa, Fletcher, Welbeck, RvP is a list of the players who didn't start v West Ham. Many of those who did start were just returning after injury. How can you draw any conclusions from a game which didn't involve most of the players who will play at Spurs on Sunday?
There's worse than that. Anyway it's interesting how football works out isn't it? Arsenal played Swansea last night and they are Chelsea's next two opponents. I've never wanted Arsenal to win but I do this week. COYG.
Still think Arsenal are the team we need to beat. A draw against Arsenal and a thrashing from Swansea would be perfect.
I'd like Chelsea to drop 6 points but their away form is impressive with a lot of luck ie Stoke. Swansea might have problems beating them but I hope they do.
And typically lazy reporters continue to give Scholes the "benefit of the doubt" about his continually "mistimed tackles". Most other players would be crucified for less than what Scholes has got away with over the years... but as far as reporting goes Scholes "can't tackle" so it's all right to try and break people's legs and Bale dives, regardless of any contrary evidence when he doesn't.
Haven't they just received new investment ?? Presumably the investor/s want to bring in their own man which seems to be Mauricio someone, an Argentinian.
Someone who could get them promoted from League 1 to the PL in 2 years and then more than holding their own after a bad start in the PL. 2 defeats in their last 10 PL games. This new man must be good.
Lawro thinks a 1-1 draw, difficult to argue with that but I'm hopeful of a one goal win to us. I feel sorry for Adkins...............Chelsea.
