    To be fair to him, Liverpool don't play midweek and nor do West Brom, their opponents next weekend, so they could have moved that match to Wednesday and put the Utd Liverpool match on Saturday. But why should others be disputed by their failure to complete the fixture.

    Just turned on my telly and saw that Newcastle are 2 up against Leicester, thought it had gone wrong then remembered it was May and Rodgers teams bottle it in May

    They lost Evans in the warm up which didn’t help, but 2-0 does not flatter Newcastle, they deserve it.

    It slightly flatters Leicester, if anything. I suspect Bruce will have the Geordies sit back more after the break and **** it up though, unfortunately.

    There’s no way Newcastle are doing that away to any other club in the top half - not even Arsenal - even if they still had Mertesacker.
