Giroud opens the scoring for the chavs, when he came on last week was the only time I was concerned

Do I like him, no ,would I like him in our squad, absolutely

Edit 4 for Giroud

yeah like loads longer

currently as things stand the ball is only in play about 25/30 mins per half max
That would be a big concern. But in theory, the rules could recognize that the clock should run except in a few cases: (injuries, the aftermath of goals, VAR reviews, etc.) Another approach would be to shorten games to 60 minutes to keep them at 90 or so. If there was a will both to rationalize time keeping and to keep matches the same length, it could be done.

Anyone else see the Fred 'headbutt' - lucky to stay on the pitch very similar to Pepe at Leeds, not much contact but definitely moves his head into the PSG player sending off every day of the week - ref looks at the monitor and gives him yellow.

Reading Bert Trautmann's Steppes to Wembley reliving his German soldier experiences in Russia and his Cup Final appearances. Interesting. He mentions the Revie Plan. Well I can recall the Harmer plan at Tottenham. As Revie played a deep center forward game for City, Harmer the Charmer played a deep inside forward game at right wing, which worked until our manager changed it for a semi final tie against City (!) at Villa Park. They dropped Harmer, brought in Dave Dunmore as a right winger.....and we lost the semi final 1-0. Brilliant managing. Near the end,Blanchflower sent Mo Norman forward which peed off the manager and Danny was dropped for that!!! I was at Villa Park to watch that and we could have played all day and not scored!

Just flicked over to the Rangers game and I didn't realise quite how well they've started the season.
23 games in all competitions, no losses and 18 clean sheets. Even for the SPL, that's impressive.
I wonder how long Gerrard will stay there? There'll be a few clubs looking at him if he can keep that up.

Hes gonna need to leave jock land and manage in the prem and do reasonably well (depends on club expectations ect) if he's to be considered anything as a manager.

I hope he does well at another prem club before taking Iver from Klopp one day

United very lucky to get in 1-0. Despite conceding fairly late in the first half, they completely fell apart after it. Ole gets a chance to calm their panic a bit now.

I don't understand why Evra's a pundit. He's ****e. "This is United" followed by depression, everytime they're getting beat. Zero interest in the opposition.

Spammers should be 2 and probably 3 ahead, surely Man Utd cant be as bad in the 2nd half and the spammers may regret those misses.

I hate to say this but Soucek was a steal- really classy addition, I like Bowen too shame they are at West Ham, but it has to be said that Moyes is getting a decent tune out of the players there.
