Pickford deserves all the **** he's been getting recently, but he's saved them several times today. Liverpool haven't created that much and yet he's had to be really sharp, anyway.
Richarlison off. Deserves it. Ancelotti will be furious. Might not matter for this game, but his three game ban might.
What a shock, straight red for Richarleson. Probably worth a yellow which would have sent him off anyhow.
That was a red, for me. The game had already stopped too, so it was very, very stupid. And they've lost it. Or have they? Offside? Looks it to me, but we'll see. Chalked off! ****ing hell. They'll be furious.

Well I'm shocked. And it shouldn't have been offside - not that Pool haven't benefited from umpteen VARs in their favour up to now. But I've said before that VAR won't properly be debated until a big decision goes against a team like Pool, and now we might see a different reaction. This happens to another team - talked about for a day and forgotten. This happens to Pool - will be talked about for days. Oh... and Pickford should have saved it anyway.
Because of course... Dave Payn: If that's offside I'm going to be the next Pope. Nick Hughes: You are joking. What part of Mané is offside? Pickford saved by offside and VAR again Samuel Ager: Ahhh controversial offsides. Hello again. You thought handball was gonna take all the hits this season?
Offside law is becoming a laughing stock VAR decision today to close to call, goal should have been awarded I don't care who the goal is for that should not be disallowed the benefit of the doubt should go to the attacker no question. IFAB able to change handball to make it worse so I guess it was too much to expect them to change offside to make it better.
