Playing an ultra-high line against Jamie Vardy is just ****ing stupid. He's going to run in behind and look for penalties all day long. I don't know about non-contentious, though. The first two were typical Vardy moves, in my opinion. Walker tries to get hold of him, misses and he goes down anyway. Virtually no contact at all. Stupid to give him the opportunity. I also don't see any difference in the second and the Pogba/Connolly one that was chalked off by VAR. Stupid defending, but either they both are or neither is. I'll post the highlights for those that haven't seen them:
Rodgers has given you more ways of playing and you've got the players to do so. Going toe-to-toe with City was never your smartest option though, so you didn't. They didn't have a striker, which is another stupid shortcoming on their part. Why make it open and allow space for Sterling, Mahrez and the like to work in? Sit back, drag them out and run in behind.
The pressure of Citeh + Pep post-Barca being CL failures is getting to them. Add to that the fact that the Poool are on the PL rise and it increases even more (no luxury of 'at least we won the league' now) .
What is the earliest that a team has been relegated from premier league, Fulham must be a good bet this year
Derby and Huddersfield after 32 games. Both just snuck it into March. 1 win and 3 wins, respectively.
David Ornstein @David_Ornstein Arsenal are in advanced talks to take Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a season long loan from Chelsea. #AFC see Loftus-Cheek as a suitable alternative to top midfield targets Partey + Aouar. @TheAthleticUK
I was going to suggest that this seems a bit far fetched, but Ornstein's normally pretty reliable for the filth, isn't he? Quite a few clubs after Leftarsecheek, but a loan to another London club might suit Chelsea.
Have you seen this today? I can't believe it would happen. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....l-transfer-news-Dele-Alli-Tottenham-Spurs/amp
