They had 19 shots against us with 10 on target. They're already at 14 and 7 and there's more than five minutes left in the first half. I wonder if they'll sack the manager at half-time or give him an hour?
Suarez stamps on Thiago and then throws himself to the ground at the slightest contact. Booking for Boateng! Some things don't change.
Literally no injury time at the end of the first half. I hate that. It's a bizarre European phenomenon and they tend to add it on at the end of the second half, which makes no sense. Barca are probably glad it's over, though. Shocking first half.
So now Lewandowski scores ...and shortly afterwards we're guaranteed another round of "Spurs to sign the broken down husk of Philippe Coutinho?" stories
So who got the goals and assists for the five goals they conceded before that, hmm? It's almost like there's this thing called "context" that constantly disagrees with you...
just what we need to unlock them tight defences Good enough for Bayern, but maybe not good enough for us? Hmmm
Apparently its something like 20m Euros just for a season long loan fee. There’s good players, then there’s ****ing ridiculous.
Yeah that’s a bit too much of a loan fee but that doesn’t mean he’s not good enough for us...he would be ideal
I think the question mark is whether he’s capable of consistently producing the kind of performances he used to for Liverpool in the PL now. I have no idea if he’s consistently as good as he was in the game just gone, I don’t watch Bayern at all. Aside from the outrageous loan fee and big wages, that’s the big footballing question.
Is there a different rule in the UCL that allows a player on loan to play against their home club as in Coutinho's case ? Or is this now the rule in all leagues
Not good enough for Barca Not good enough for Bayern But hey, he wore a Barca shirt (briefly...) so he must be great and let's ignore the reasons why Barca want to get rid and Bayern aren't interested in bringing him in
Sign Coutinho and he could give Spurs the boost that Bruno gave Man Utd, also if it helps the club get back into Champions League then it’s worth the loan fee.
What boost? It's usually Pogba or Martial who dive for the penalties he scores, so they're the players who'd improve us ...if we ever got awarded bloody penalties, that is
Ok, you have detected an issue with Coutinho as a footballer that means he isn’t wanted at Barca, Bayern. Who do you think we should buy for a few bob from Norwich etc to do a similar job? Happy?
