Our players can't even win penalties when they're playing for someone else!![]()

I think they've missed the point with a couple of Clattenburg's decisions. Kane was shoved in the area before the handball and after Cole had landed on the Norwich player's spine(surely worth stopping) but Cole then knocked over the defender on the line before the goal.
Send them on loan to a team that plays in red then![]()
DL, never lets the facts get in the way of having a dig.

CHELSEA have had the most penalties. In the last four seasons, they've had the most twice and second most once.
Matt Le Tissier made a good point re: the disallowed Saints goal yesterday. There was definitely a touch, maybe a push, but if it had been the other way, i.e. had the defender 'touched or pushed' an attacker, would it have been given as a penalty? I think that the answer is no, and would be no 100 times out of a 100 in a similar situation, so on the basis of fairness, the Saints goal should have stood.
By the way, Webb is the worst ref, by miles. He is consistently bad. Twattenberg and Pratkinson and Dowd are bad, but inconsistently bad. They have an occasional good game/half/5 minutes.
If you are right and Webb is rated as our 'best' ref what does that tell us?

That he makes the 'right' decisions?
He's never pissed off Fergie.

Isn't that what I said, YV?![]()
Pointless stat, you'd have to look into each pen and decide whether it should have been given.
All the penalties we've had this season and last have been pretty much undisputed. You only need to look at the Chelsea v United games last season whereby 3 incorrect penalty calls were awarded in Uniited's favour as well as a blatant dive by Welbeck v Wigan to come to your own conclusion.
The likes of Hazard, Bale and Suarez haven't been able to buy a penalty this season yet Welbeck and Young seemingly get them with ease.
Bloody awful decision not to send off Smalling in the Wigan v Man Utd game.
Fergie's mind games win through, again.
