The only winners were West Ham's owners. What a result...they didn't lose and no protest. It might be their best match day all season?
I just watched a Jose interview. He was sitting smiling without a care in the world, talking about this season,Sheff United and looking forward to this July when he can have a go for the PL title (?). Seems he's totally happy at Tottenham (at the moment!!!?) I wonder why he wasn't totally happy at Man U? Luke!?
I just watched a video of a plane diverted to Birmingham. How the pilot landed only he knows. With turbulence like that, makes you want to walk!!!!!
You know, I'm finding this winter break to be a bit of a con Bundesliga: 21st December - 17th January Ligue 1: 21st December - 12th January (with a couple of cup games during the break for teams still in those competitions) Serie A: 20th December - 5th January La Liga: 22nd December - 4th January Premier League: 2nd February - 16th February...for us (and that had an FA Cup replay in it) meanwhile Everton's is the 8th-22nd, while The Sheikh Mansour Team was supposed to be 9th-22nd but is actually 2nd-22nd thanks to Storm Ciara
In other words, they actually get a winter break comparable with the Bundesliga More than anything else, though, the dates tell the true story: Sky & BT paid for a glut of matches over the Christmas period so those can't be moved, The FA haven't realised that the FA Cup means little more than a bonus to club who have already won the league or a band aid for clubs in decline whose fans are easily swayed so they won't be moving the third round, so instead we get some half-assed few days off in February after the most packed six week period of matches in the entire calendar where it also happens to be really f'n cold
Pep says City may fire him if they lose their CL tie.I guess they've spent all that money to win the CL. Well,if they win that tie and Spurs go out......they may have a chance! Anyway, they've still got the FL Cup......and if they don't win that,I can send them some of my spare cups.Don't have the saucers though!
The thing is that both Bayern and The Sheikh Mansour Team brought him in to dominate in Europe (as domestic dominance was an assumption) and at both clubs he's failed to deliver that, routinely choking in the semis at the former and never getting beyond the quarters in the latter - which is especially embarassing as manuel Pellegrini managed to reach the semis
