Barnet? They actually managed to outdo us on the late **** ups this week, conceding a 101st minute equaliser to Potters Bar in the FA Cup qualifiers. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p07r35bs/the-fa-cup-201920-potters-bar-town-v-barnet Missed a penalty, lost a player to injury in added time and conceded from a corner on the last kick of the game. Ouch.
Don't look behind the curtain! I keep an eye on a few because people that I know support them. Barnet are one of them.
For some reason all the ex-Arsenal pundits are chipping in with opinions about which of our players should leave to pursue trophies Because as we all know, back-to-back FA Cups encouraged Giroud, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlane and Sanchez to stay at Arsenal...
Giroud is very under rated IMO, always turned up against us - Sanchez was top drawer for the Goons and The Ox is a very good player, and one who when fully fit will be a shoe in for England. That just leaves Walnutt who was always massively overrated
Like other massively overrated players who scored a prominent goal for England Owen, Beckham, McMahon, Barnes, off the top of my head. Except McMahon managed to become overated without actually scoring a goal for England.
ok now i'm confused as in my memory Chamberlain crossed to Hateley who nodded in and got a transfer abroad ( Monaco ? ) on the back of it . PS no way is Barnes overrated if anything he is underrated . He was a stunning player but unfortunately he played for England - whose own "fans" racially abused him .
You are quite right - Hateley and Barnes were the scorers that night - And I knew that, Spurs scoring 3 times in 45 mins obviously clouded my mind
