It would be interesting if in the next couple of matches Spurs overtake Chelsea, that would make AVB's life not just his day. Chelsea supporters are saying"Oh we'll be alright in January"etc etc. Certain?

  5. That rant by Coco tells us that Mad Dog brought him in because he genuinely believes that Coco can win him the title, not merely do "a bit" better than RDM. It's laughable, and it makes Mad Dog as big a clown as Coco, in my view.

The Chelsea boys must be in utter despair.

I'm starting to get interested in other teams again, I just couldn't see us getting top 4, but a liitle chink of light has opened up in my gloom.

AVB's started picking better teams, results are going our way to a certain extent. Fulham may kill the hope again, but I don't think so. As long as we're not overcome by tiredness, and caulker is back for gallas, I fancy a point at least.

GHoddle,I just don't understand why you get so gloomy about our prospects after a run of three defeats and become defeatist. Only 14 matches have gone. My problem at the moment is that we are either winning or losing,we are not stringing together a run with some draws in it. Win 3,lose 3,win 2,it's very difficult to predict the team's results.

Clattenberg received a standing ovation from both sets of fans before last night's Southampton/Norwich game.

Only Chelsea could unite football fans in support for a referee!

Real could easily have won at the Allianz. Ozil and Ronaldo wasted great chances as did Benzema at 1-1.

I doubt it. You've got Fulham and Everton away, we've got West Ham and Sunderland are already ahead.

What do you expect him to say HIAG?

How would you feel if AVB came out and said Spurs have no chance of top 4? It's no different.

What do you mean "Sunderland are already ahead.?" You're winless in six in the league and West Ham only just lost at O/T. Sunderland beat you 0-3 recently and your last two matches have been scoreless. Fulham missed a golden opp to score and beat you. We have a good record against Everton who lost to Reading and drew with Norwich and Arsenal. What I'm saying is possible DL.

Sunderland beat us over 2 years ago with this team
    Cech

    Bosingwa
    Ferreira
    Ivanovic
    Cole

    Mikel
    Ramires
    Malouda

    Zhirkov
    Drogba
    Anelka

I'm not sure what the relevance is TMT?

Our record at SOL is very good, not lost there since the 1999/00 season if my memory is correct plus when was the last time Sunderland beat anybody at home? We are favourites no doubt.

If you look at it objectively it's possible but highly unlikely Spurs will amass more points from Fulham and Everton away as Chelsea will from West Ham and Sunderland away.

I don't know you can be so confident seeing as the way you are playing. The last time you weren't playing very well Sunderland thrashed you. I'm not saying what will happen ,what I'm saying is that it could happen ok.

I really like the fact we aren't drawing. A draw is 2/3 of the way towards losing. If you score and give up more than other teams, you'll have fewer draws, more wins, more losses and more points (other things being equal). The likelihood of drawing varies inversely with total goals.

DL said that he doesn't think Chelsea will win until January so I'm not sure why he is disagreeing with you so much.

DL is so confident of his own predictions that he started an article where he says even Pool will finish above us.

Its possible,as is anything in football..but DL seems convinced.

He has even managed to have a positive slant on teams like Newcastle who are struggling and has them finishing above us. Says everyone will maintain their form..and Spurs because of AVB will decline....ohh and chelsea will improve.

yet he along with the rest of the Chelsea fans have spent all week crying at RDM's fate who had proved to be absolute shaite in all reality, lucky but shaite. Now Rafa is at the helm and DL along with the rest do not want him..yet they will improve....We though will decline because of AVB...the same one that left them 4th and RDM helped them fall to 6th.

so basically nothing to do with football..all to do with personal feelings towards AVB......he really did finger your bunch didnt he? for that i will always back AVB <ok>
