Everyone being hard on Chelsky, when the world knows they are resting player legs all this week in preparation for their cup final on Feb 27.
Tbf to the big man I think he's turned up for us when we have needed him. Done well in the domestic cups and he's probably having his longest run in the first team since he joined us and I think he's been affective.
Sarri playing Kante out of position for Jorginho will cost him his job. Ridiculous how stubborn he is. Also heard that Barkley has been subbed on/off for Kovacic 20 times this season. To be that predictable at this level is so poor.
****housery! Great word. Remembering when department stores had lifts with attendants in uniform who announced each floor. Ladies Lingerie, Haberdashery, ****housery!
Can you imagine what that floor would be like though? For a start Dele Alli would be the lift attendant and would try and trip everyone who got out at that floor. Ander Herrera is the assistant there of course and follows you around while you shop whispering obscene insults in Spanish. Once it’s time to pay, Sergio Ramos appears and puts a two-footer in, or upgrades to a ‘judo throw’ if you’re wearing a Liverpool shirt. Finally when it’s time to go home you find that Chiellini has keyed your car, Lamela has let down the tires, and that while you’re fixing them Sergio Busquets has stolen your shopping.
How long for Sarri? Today? Some young Spurs fan on Twitter summed it up nicely, "This is the worst Chelsea team in the whole of their 16 year history"
Chelsea fans are roaming the internet displaying their dissatisfaction. Of course, Sarri has to go...that's a given. There's also dissatisfaction with the amount of money spent and cries to spend more. In the last 2 seasons they've bought... Morata £66m Bakayoko £40m Drinkwater £38m Rudiger £35m Zappacosta £25m Emerson £20m Giroud £17m Barkley £17m Kepa £72m Pulisic £57m Jorginho £51m Higuain £8m (to jog around for a few weeks) I make that the fat end of £440m in 2 seasons. Whatever the problems, spending money doesn't seem to be the answer....Maybe Villa will want to loan Barkley or Drinkwater?
Roman's been trying to flog the club for a while now but there's no one stupid enough to make an offer anywhere near his £3 billion valuation. The rumoured Saudi bid for United was £3.8 billion. That gets you the richest club in world football with a stadium that holds nearly twice what The Bridge does. The most valuable thing at Chelsea is the real estate and Roman doesn't even own the pitch at his own ground. Take away their player loaning business, Roman's £1.3 billion 'interest free loan' that grows by about £80m per year and then add in the cost of developing the stadium and the actual value of the club is pretty much limited to the value of that debt. It ain't a simple fix, no matter what happens next...
We need to be careful what we say and wish for. We've got them in a couple of weeks in a very important game. And they knocked us out of the season killer cup a couple of weeks ago.
