I've read that Kane might be brought back from injury earlier than expected, grave mistake. They tried that before and it failed badly.
I know nothing about Malmo but then Chelsea have Utd, City and us. I hope they take complete thrashings and are without a manager so that their morale is rock bottom when they meet us.
Our luck hasn't been that bad recently Spurlock. Anyway I'm now concentrating on Dortmund instead of teams which pose no threat to us.
We will see how it goes its our away form thats tragic. At home we are still pretty good which is where you face us (tonked by you boys, city and arsenal away, drew against pool and united and beat arsenal and city at home).
Is it not the case that you guys are good enough for most teams when you can be bothered, but the workrate drops off alarmingly when you can't be arsed and you're easy pray at 80%. The can't be arsed days seem to be coming more frequently.
Wrote this elsewhere on downing tools argument. Essentially i put it down to tactics and personnel rather than players not being arsed. I don't think anyone ever goes out thinking I'm not going to try. Tbh i never get this down tools argument. I don't think people ever deliberately go out to lose and at the top level confidence is everything. If you expect your manager to have a go at you for trying things or not getting into position or if your position is mismanaged, of course its going to affect your game. As for us, we are weak mentally and its partly sarris tactics and his personnel. I see the way we press and its very weird and knackers our lcm and rcms out as they are normally the ones to initiate. Plus with hazard who doesnt have the energy it kind of stops our press The other thing is jorginho isnt good enough to cover all the midfield by him self so we get ripped apart. Saying that it took klopp and pep a season to adapt so i would rather sarri be given til end of next season before chopping him. We have been horrible this season away from home
Chelsky were playing great until they got spanked by Spurs, and then the PL form went into a slowly accelerating nose-dive. No wonder the PL schedulers have ensured Spurs do not play the current top 2 again until April.
"Aaron Ramsey: Arsenal midfielder signs £400k-a-week deal to join Juventus" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47203118 Just wow. I'm not really sure what to say. We were never going to pay him that much really and truly.
If he was sold for 20m, then Juventus have effectively got him on zero wages for 12 months. He is going to have to do something quite epic for them IMHO to justify any wages from month 13 onwards.
