Your centre half position is an issue because Matip and Gomez have suspect injury histories. Four centre halves is fine, if they're unlikely to go missing for half a season, on a regular basis. Okay, Lovren's wildly fluctuating confidence/performances don't help.

Likewise, we have Mousa Dembele (for now) and Victor Wanyama. Both are serial crocks and scarcely amount to options at this point. We have a squad weakness and it's that Rose, Lamela and especially the two central midfielders, are going to be missing more/as much as they're available.

I'll be surprised if Citeh don't 'go big' on a left back this summer, given Mendy's history. Injured players aren't options

I wouldn't be surprised if we buy a defender this window probably not a big signing but someone who can play CB/FB to a reasonable standard after all our only dedicated FB cover is Moreno <laugh>.
Do you fancy loaning us KWP to get him some game time <whistle>

Moreno's truly terrible. He shouldn't still be at the club. Loaning Clyne out was a bit surprising in the circumstances.

We really need a central midfielder. I'd willingly take a loan, even just to have up our sleeve. If Moussa Sissoko gets injured, we're screwed. He's carried our midfield this season. He was excellent again last night. We have nobody else in midfield to get the ball forward anything like as fast.

KWP's got the talent to make it at Spurs. I'd think that there's got to be a departure this summer in that position anf home grown trumps Aurier, for my money.

My standard view on Moreno is he reminds me of a Labrador happily charging round a field aimlessly with not a thought crossing what passes for his brain. This view is now so ingrained i always view him with his tongue lolling out and everytime he goes near the corner flag i half expect him to cock his leg .
On your CM considering the Wanyama & Dembele situation it was a surprise that you didn't bite the bullet and sign some cover in the summer and like us with our defence it would hardly be a surprise if something now happened in this window.
Think KWP has the potential to become your first choice for some years but the worry is , like so many talented youngsters at the "big" clubs , his career may stagnate due to lack of game time.

Despite having half the England team, we're pushed for home grown players, so I think KWP will get a shot.

Currently, our finances are pretty precarious. We've facility to borrow £637m, which is a breathtaking amount of money. That and MP's desire to purchase primo young talent make things difficult when clubs are wildly overpaying for players.

I think that we got stuck with Big Vic and Mousa Dembele last summer and thought that we could coax something out of them for a season. We were wrong and it probably should cost us. We shall see.

Interestingly, our issues have seen MP reinvigorate Moussa Sissoko and to a lesser extent Llorente. He's also patched it up with Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose, who were also likely departures last summer. It has improved his management. However, this summer needs to see some serious activity as there will be departures.

    This is extremely unfair.
If I chuck a ball for a Labrador, then I expect it to retrieve it. I've seen no evidence that Moreno's capable of that.
    Also, people like Labradors.

Also, if De Bruyne plays in the second leg, there goes Fraudiola's credibility if he moans about him being tired in the latter stages of the season again...

So it's City in the final which we all knew anyway. I hope they get over confident and Burton come back into it.

It's already 4-0 and we're not a quarter of the way through the 2 tie affair.

What would you define as amounting to "Burton come back into it."?
