Those two "Pensioners" at Chelsea today. I honestly waited for them to remove their coats and hats and take their positions in the Chelsea line up...…..
So far quite good. Liverpool didn't beat Fulham by the margin I expected but Everton did what I thought i.e. run Chelsea very close. Now for the Arsenal, Palace, Wolves and Spurs quartet, so far so good.
Interesting how the same teams have met in such close proximity to each other which often happens and the scores seem to form a pattern or the unexpected happens. Team A beats team B and team B beats team C so you'd expect team A to beat team C but it often doesn't happen that way. Palace, Arsenal, Spurs and Wolves at the moment. I predicted a close score line. Will Arsenal come back or are they running out of steam as I mentioned last week?
True but they've drawn three out of their last four which isn't that good seeing as the win was Blackpool.
Watching the Manchester derby. Remembering we put 3 past United with ease. Most of us are not too impressed with Spurs form this season but it's a good day to remember just what we did against this lot.
Painful to watch. Such uninspiring football. But at 0-1, at least there's still a game on - and recent results might suggest it's not over yet.
City's defence certainly didn't look invincible when we played them, despite the result. Chucking on Lukaku, Mata and Sanchez later in the match might produce something.
Good weekend, Spurs getting 3 pts away from 'home', and the goons and chavs both dropping 2 pts at home.
