Leeds are close to appointing Marcelo Bielsa, according to various reports. It's a risky appointment that could go very well or very badly. As it's Leeds, it'll probably be the latter. I wonder if Pochettino will be reaching out to his mentor, if he does take over at Elland Road? Any loans to toughen the kids up, perhaps?
So, Marcelo Bielsa has become Leeds United manager.......Given both parties' records in such matters, I wonder if he'll ever manage a competitive game for them?
I don't know if young Grealish can read but if he can, this would be a pretty good place to start... http://www.espn.in/football/club/ch...-on-or-else-their-present-and-future-are-grim If you strip out Roman's 'loans' and UEFA do limit clubs to loaning out a maximum of 10 players, the current business model is totally ****ed and Plan B, of building a shiny new stadium, is deader than a Russian dissident in Moscow. Without him, it's the same old Chelsea.....fur coat and no knickers.
The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton Manager, Marco Silva wants to add only a handful of signings and aims to trim his squad from 38 players to around 25. Yes, betting the farm on a bag load of **** last summer will tend to have that effect.....I wonder how much it's going to cost to get Rooney to drag his cheating arse to the States?
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned to him that DC United are so **** they thought signing a player named Frederic Brilliant would improve their on-pitch fortunes. It hasn't...
Goldie always had a minimum of 3 gratuitous 'ass shots' in each of her movies. In 'Bird on a Wire' the camera spends more time focussing on her and Mel Gibson's asses than the writers took cobbling the 'script' together.
From Sky Sports BREAKING NEWS Granit Xhaka has signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal. Yeah, yeah...very funny..........Announce The Wheelchair, FFS.
Spain goalkeeper David de Gea, 27, has agreed a new five-year deal with Manchester United, ending talk of a move to Real Madrid. (Manchester Evening News) That might now read 'had' agreed a deal
From Sky Sports Maurizio Sarri is on the brink of replacing Antonio Conte at Chelsea and is set to bring Gianfranco Zola with him to Stamford Bridge. Zola's in to advise him on how to get relegated from The Championship, I presume? However, aren't John Terry or Graham Rix much more suitable appointments to assist Sarri?
The treatment of Chelsea managers is brutal. Grant took over mid season, took them to runners up in the league, their first CL final and Darling Cup final and was sacked. Di Matteo took over in March, win them the CL and was sacked in Oct. Jose won them the title and was sacked in October. Fat Spanish Waiter won the EL and was sacked straight away. Someone on the double and was gone in a year. And now Conte.
