That result may also be good for us. Mentally it’s bound to have some sort of impact, and they play a day later than us this week, meaning we get that extra day’s rest before the cup semi at the weekend.
Man Utd should be ok for finishing 2nd though (a couple of London teams who may bend over if it means Spurs not finishing 2nd) . So who has the biggest downer for the FA Cup SFs based on the results over this one ?? Them or us ??
So is it now united’s turn to continuously hear/see the “putting the pressure on” comments? Or does that only apply to us?
United, IMO. Just. We would never have expected to beat city, where as they would have expected to win that. But at the same time I guess Tuesday/Wednesday is just as important. I think united have the trickier fixture on paper, so it’ll all depend how both teams get on.
Well done WBA. Will be interesting to see if they can carry the confidence from today into next weekend.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43676021 Amazing that Mcnumpty has managed to compose an entire article to answer the question 'How did Pep turn City into champions?' The answer, you great buffoon, is one word. I'll give you a clue: It rhymes with 'honey'.
