Some interesting fixtures coming up for our PL
top 4 rivals between now and the FA Cup 3rd round.

Can Spurs power thru the Xmas fixtures as they have
for the past two seasons ??

"We are in the second year of trying to rebuild a football team that you know is not one of the best teams in the world," said the Portuguese.
Manchester City buy full-backs for the price of strikers,"

"[Spending £300m] is not enough. The price for the big clubs is different than for the other clubs. The big historical clubs are normally punished in the market because of that history. When you tell a club like Man Utd, do you think Milan is not as big as us? You think Real Madrid are not as big as we are? I know what a big club is. One thing is a big club and another thing is a big football team. They are two different things.

"When you speak about responsibilities to win the Premier League, Tottenham doesn't have that responsibility because they are not a club with the same history as us. Arsenal don't have the responsibility to win it. Chelsea don't have the responsibility to win it. When you speak about big football clubs, you are speaking about the history of the club."

That clears it up then.......<laugh>

He's gone full bitter. Never go full bitter.

The Manc messiah spending is like the Cold War
arms race. Pep is producing the technically
superior weaponry, and Jose cannot handle it.

The other issue is the fear of Fergie compelled his
players to front up (as LDL said, 0-2 at HT would
be 5-2 at FT) . There seems to be no such fear
of Jose. If anything his players are more likely to
go full diva strop and not produce on pitch
(re Chelsky 2015-16) if given the hairdryer treatment.

Mourinho sounds more and more like someone on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He used to be very eloquent. now he is almost inarticulate. He has become a caricature of himself. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he grew a long beard and went off to live in a cave in Portugal.

A £300m cave.
