Should be too much for Sunderland at home YV, though they were the only side to beat them at the Etihad last season, I think.
A lot may depend upon the potentially stroppy or brilliant front pairing of Balotelli and Tevez.

They drew at the Etihad 3-3, I think and won at home 1-0.

Yeah, they're still a better side on paper but throwing a team together like that is asking for trouble.

<laugh> Part of Newcastle's fancy dress range, apparently.
Clubs do sell some tat nowdays, don't they? Ours included, unfortunately.

Sunderland fans singing "Champions League? You're having a laugh" at City fans. Similar to QPR fans singing "Thusday nights, Channel 5" at us, I just don't get it. I'd rather have European football at a quality side than watch a Martin O'Neill or Mark Hughes managed side :undecided:

They've looked like a slightly rustier version of City last season. 'Bout bloody time they started to get their act together, I don't want to see Chelsea or United win the league.

Eitherway, West Ham or Arsenal will go above us today. Now there's a disappointing thought. I'll be quietly cheering on the draw.

I'm a bit previous posting this as West Ham and Arsenal haven't played yet. Whatever happens there we are going to drop a place but we can overtake them tomorrow. City look like they have their defensive act together but it was only against Sunderland. Chelsea went behind at home and could have gone behind a second time and Norwich created chances. A better team would have given Chelsea problems. Everton could only draw with a late penalty against Wigan which cannot bode well for them. WBA I think are flattering to deceive a bit but had a good result today. Adios Hughes, get out of coaching, you're no good at it.
Tomorrow at Newcastle and tonight at West Ham will be interesting. Come on Spurs tomorrow, get a solid win. Get third.

I'm ok and I'm not. I said Arsenal would be back to winning ways after their loss to Chelsea and they're losing. The match isn't over yet. I'm waiting to "Oops" Kyle as he did to us. Come on Bubbles, blow.

I think we will but Arsenal are going to take some stopping Yid,be realistic. They will challenge and they are back to winning ways. They met Chelsea who are on a winning streak which I think will end slowly.

Arsenal are winning by skill and good football whereas Chelsea are still riding a lucky wave,or at least the ripples of it. I am interested in seeing what happens when Chelsea lose one. Yesterday they went behind at home and Norwich had good chances. I'm just waiting with my claws out ready to pounce. So,a lot of us wailed about Modric and VdV leaving and we laughed at the prospects of Arsenal now RVP has gone but are we both any the worse off without them? I don't think so. If they want to go then they go with a cheer not a tear. We will do better without Modric.......I think.

You're welcome, Luke. Thanks for the 3 points. I must say that Newcastle's defending is so bad, it's laughable. Two completely free headers. '
