Assist for Carter-Vickers... Leeds score as he gets the header wrong and glances it to Phillips who volleys it in. Great finish, maybe I'm being harsh but I think that's poor from the Spurs man again.

I do fear he may be the great hope that doesn't make it. I can definitely see KWP and Josh Onomah kicking on and making it as first team regulars..........but centre half is a position for experience and reading of the game and he's still a baby. Davinson Sanchez is a freak to be so accomplished aged 21. There's still time for CCV but he's not built to play full back, so another season on loan looks likely.

Yeah, we hoped he'd make the step that Caulker couldn't but he's looking like he has a similar issue with not having the technical quality. Hopefully he'll prove us wrong.

Not sure about Walker-Peters but it's early days for him. Think he might need a loan spell to establish himself at professional level, otherwise he might end up like Phil Ifill, who had a cracking debut against Liverpool only to disappear and never be heard of again.

Having landed Aurier, KWP should be out there playing on loan. Hopefully, we'll have enough fit players by January to be able to fill the bench without naming 3 goalkeepers and can make it happen. I think he's got the lot.

Bit harsh, NKNG. He didn't get it 100% right, but there were two men spare to deal with Phillips.
Someone should've prevented him from getting the shot off, in my opinion.
Here's the goal, for anyone that missed it:

Thought Carter-Vickers had a decent game and Sheffield United limited Leeds to scraps for most of the game.
Could be good for him that he's playing consistently in a back three too, given our adoption of the system for most games.
We need more options in that position going forward, as the game against West Ham showed.

Poor old Palace. Now West Ham won their World Cup match last week they think they are now unbeatable.By the amount of luck they are having so far plus a couple of goals.......I can just hear Roy saying "what have you done to us,Tottenham?"

Every rival result has gone against us today, but next weekend is our chance to pull it back.

Whilst we face the bottom of the league, arsenal play city away, and united face Chelsea away.

Happened to Arsenal when they lost to Watford and to United and Liverpool last weekend.
We have played 3 of the other 5 but only got 3 points from them but are still in the top 4 so not to bad. Our problem is City and Arsenal play us in the next 5 weeks...need to win at least one of those imo

City will be a struggle and I’d take a draw right now, but we need to beat arsenal, even though it’s away.

How do we want those fixtures next weekend to pan out? Is 2 draws best for us, so 4 rivals drop 2 points each?
