He has to go all the money he spent and didn't buy a striker is one thing but buying all the midfielders when his defence is crap is unforgivable. Everton have no direction no system and the players seem like they don't know what they are doing.
They have been humiliated by Arsenal today...1 good shot from Rooney aside they have been awful. Outplayed from minute one. At home. Again.
So the Citeh pen v Burnley was probably a penalty - though exacted a rather theatrical fall somehow (do they practice that in training?) - so the pundits say "I can see why the ref gave that". The problem is that if the situation was completely reversed, would Burnley have been given the pen under the same circumstances? And if not you can hear the same pundits say "I can see why the ref didn't give that". All rather subjective for a multi-billion pound industry isn't it!
Anyone else thinking that Koeman never managed Southampton, and everyone thinking he did and was pretty damn good there is an example of the Mandela Effect?
Doubtless we'll be hearing the Narrative of how devastating Arsenal are when they have all three of Sanchez, Lacazette and Ozil in the team - rather than how much Everton look like we did during AVB's last stand.
I guess he and billions of others can't stand Arsenal.......except the Finsbury Park and Woolwich mobs!
That Everton goal was so much against the run of play it was surreal. If there is one thing better than watching any team score against l'arse is watching any team score against l'arse totally against the run of play.
So Poch will probably rest Harry for Wednesday which is a good idea as we have a replacement and others who can score. Let's see how we do without him to measure our ability. Do NOT misunderstand, I love Harry but I want to break away from this "Harry Kane" team mentality.
It did look like Sanchez and Ozil want to secure contracts for next season suddenly. I hope Manchester was watching.
Can't think why Everton's shirt sponsors deleted this tweet yesterday... please log in to view this image
Koeman sacked. Entirely unsurprising. Whoever takes over has a seriously unbalanced, ageing squad to somehow coach a cohesive performance out of.
£140m spent...Barkley marginalised, Moralise (excuse spelling) and Lennon marginalised last season, whining about Bolasies injury incessantly and not replacing Lakaku while obsessing about Siggy for £45m...all to produce utter drivel that almost makes AVB's 2nd season shambles look respectable
I said at the start that his spending was way off, all that spent on those three, madness. Go back home Koeman.
Maybe they'll go in for Benitez before the red side of Liverpool sack their manager? Would Benitez go for it or is he keeping a sneaky eye on what is happening at Anfield?
