Any chance his people could negotiate for Wenger?

But we're the club that ruins managers, not them...

Most of them work again, just not very successfully. Still, they managed Spurs. What more could they want?

This is why Poch, should he be unaware of it. should think carefully about leaving.

Which reminds me, after saying that if Poch leaves for Barca that Toby will quit the club, have we edited all footage of Garth Crooks out of the WHL farewell video yet?

I loved Garth but he did head the ball a lot back in the day and it's beginning to show.

It has come to pass that The Leader, Legend, Racist has parted company with Chelsea (for the second time in 2 years). In a shock move the accused........err, Mr Terry, was subbed off after 26 minutes.

This brilliant piece of appreciation was all above board and not in any way bent or hooky or a fix........oh, no! Just a wonderful tribute to the Leader, Legend , Racist. Nothing that his friends and family could profit from....oh, no! Definitely not.

    NEWS UPDATE

Oh, dear! It appears that a certain number of wagers we're placed predicting exactly what happened at odds of 100/1 with bookmakers who weren't in on the wheeze. It seems that you can take the theiving no good **** out of Chelsea..........

I have no time for this type of cheap charade. I'm all for "legends" of the game receiving due accolade and recognition, but there's a correct and proper way of doing things.

I have a lot of time for David Moyes. A good man who probably deserves his career to have taken a better path than has happened recently.

But for Chelsea and Moyes to arrange this pantomime of a departure is totally unacceptable. It also leaves the integrity of the clubs involved and the PL at question. To hear that several punters cashed in on this proves my point.

There's a time and a place for celebrations. To fix one during the middle of a football match is not one of them.

    <applause>

And the celebrations went on for ages after the game anyway despite this charade.
There was more wife kissing than at a Saudi family reunion.
    Totally unnecessary.

It's one thing to sub a player with ten minutes to go so they can receive a standing ovation from the crowd, which is usually what happens in continental football, but the scenes on Sunday were as classless as they were farcical.

Wouldn't it be absolutely priceless if it turned out Mrs Terry had placed one of the bets, and Chelsea got punished?

Now THAT would be a fitting end to JTs career. <laugh>

If she had, his mum would have nicked the betting slip and his dad would have rolled it up and used it to snort cocaine.

Hilarious to see just how badly the Chavs are bottling common sense in response, too...
