Poor results today for Spurs with regards to rivals with Chelsea and Everton winning. Both have got off to flyers...think this makes tomorrow even more important.
Ah right, fair enough. ****ing RDM's luck continues Worryingly winning games like that is what wins you titles
Yid,Croydon I'm hoping that their luck holds now and runs out by soon and very soon and stays that way. They cleared off the line and Stoke hit the woodwork. Is there ever going to be an end to good fortune shining on this lot? Stoke haven't won there since 1974 and still ran them close so here's hoping. Problems for Villa and it doesn't look like West Ham will be rivals after their draw today which was a fairly predictable result. WBA struggled a bit to a 1-0 win over Reading so it looks like their early season fizz is dying. Cheers, look forward to tomorrow.
Luck may happen once, twice even but did it ever occur to you guys it just might be because Chelsea are a good side that will win more often than they don't? Football is a 90 minute game, there is no rule that says you can't score within that time period. If Spurs score a 90th minute winner tomorrow neither of you will complain. As for Stoke they played very well as they did last year against us. The last 2 years they have done much better at SB than Spurs have even though Spurs have an infintely more talented side. As for titles, I wouldn't worry as we won't be challenging this year. Season doesn't start till last weekend of September/first two weeks of October. A win tomorrow sees Spurs only 5 points off the top, that's nothing. Last 2 games Spurs have looked a lot better so we'll see what happens tomorrow.
No,you are on an effing flight of good luck. Luck is happening to you not once, twice or thrice but eternally. If we take your deflections, offsides and penalties out of the equation you'd be nowhere.
You clearly don't remember the game against us at Stamford Bridge last season, where you were extremely lucky to escape with a draw. Another game in which your opponents hit the woodwork late on, if you care to try and recall it. More possession, more and better chances and only some scrappy goalline clearances stopped you from losing. Not sure how you've chosen to remember it, to be honest. More diving and a nasty foul today, apparently. Getting a bit of a reputation for simulation.
I wasn't expecting Chelsea fans to apologise for winning, if that's what you're meaning and of course I'd be pleased with 3 points too. We did outplay you at the Bridge last season incase you forgot too I was just saying winning games when you're not at your best is a trait of title challenger. You'd need to do it a few more times to convince me you can win it
I think that this is just early season good form and it'll fizzle out. They almost lost to Juve thanks again to the woodwork and it took 85 minutes to score today. Their play was described as narrow.
Chelsea's CM pairing is going to be a problem for them, I reckon. Lampard is hardly a top class CM and it's position that he has to adjust his game to play. Mikel was dreadful against Juve, and most Chelsea fans I know reckon he is a massive weak link. Next Saturday should be interesting, reckon we can really boss them in there. This and the CF position is why Chelsea will not trouble the two Manchester clubs.
City have leaked quite a few goals this season Jack which is something that they'll have to get to grips with if they're to succeed again. I'm thinking Chelsea will have a mid table finish.
How many times have Stoke actually played at Stamford Bridge in that time, though? I'm guessing it's in single digits.
