Good goal to put Swansea 2-0 up by... Kyle Naughton? Big goal for them. Nice to see him having a good day.
Kyle Naughton's last league goal was for Leicester against Scunthorpe in the Championship in March 2011.
I guess the question with that penalty is not whether it should have been ruled out, which it should have been, but would it have been ruled out if other certain teams were taking it? It would appear that such infringements have been allowed in games before, so does it depend on which team is taking the pen?
They wouldn't know the difference after a few pints. And with some pubs doing £2.00 for a pint, who'd want to pay £40 and upwards for a ticket?
Its one of those weird immutable laws of nature like all beautiful girls knocking around with a mate who looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp! They are unbeatable as soon as it's mathematically impossible for them to win the league. Normally they roar past a Tottenham team that has run out of gas or eaten too much lasagne. This time it's someone else's turn!
They've played 1 more game and have 4 less points than Pulis' WBA. None of his forwards work back, none of his defenders can attack (or defend to be fair). His midfield is ancient and they bought fat Berahino. It ain't good.
It's not even the most gutless Sunderland relegation, in 2005-6 they had six points by the end of December, 15 points by the end of May And then, of course, is 2007-8 Derby - seven points by the end of December, four by the end of the season, with only one win all season. To underline how bad they were, with Jol in charge we were 3-0 up within twenty minutes and coasting to the point that Taarabt got twenty minutes, but we also managed to beat them 3-0 with Ramos in the dugout and Martin Twatkinson as the referee!
Keep going you Goons. All the way to the final game of the season. And then have it it all to be for nothing.
