And by complete coincidence Ibrahimovic is another Raiola client...

Watching the game I thought the Atletico manager had his team running, chasing and chopping.....and when they were fouled or tackled, they started screaming for yellow/red cards.
the ref finally got fed up with that and gave them cards for complaining. Serves 'em right.
I hate Italian football but must admit the Real/Juventus tie looks tasty. But no chopping, please!
Luka,Isko were great and so was the keeper...and he almost stopped the penalty.Torres threatening Ronaldo with his handbag was funny!

Two bits of trivia about this year's CL final...
i.) It's the first time the two finalists actually won their respective leagues since 1998 - ironically enough, when Juve faced Los Ladrones
ii.) In all their previous CL wins, Juve beat the defending champions - and Los Ladrones have never lost a CL final

    Double checks...

Ah, it's got a qualifier: first time it was the previous season's league or CL winners in the final since 1998.

    Good work, Reddit...

When asked what is the most corrupt and ineffectual governing body in the world, not many people would fail to have FIFA in their top 5. However, even this bunch of self-servicing crooks recognise a scam when they see one. The investigation into Pogba's transfer and who got paid 45m Euro's despite not having ownership of the player's contract (as that's against the rules) has started in FIFA.

One might think that our own FA would consider FIFA becoming involved should point to the need to keep quiet pending the outcome? Hell no! Step forward Greg Clarke, Chairman of the FA.......

"If that's what they're going to pay, that's what they're going to pay. They are accountable to their owners, they're accountable to their fans. If they think it's good value for money......how much should go to the agents as part of a commercial transaction."

It seems to have escaped Greg Clarke's memory that discussing the hiding of third party ownership in agency agreements caused him to sack Sam Allardyce. Also, even Manchester United are answerable to the FA if rules have been broken. Yes, Mr Clarke, the people you work for. You might want to look into that. The most corrupt body in history think it might be worth it.

I wonder if Mr Clarke is answerable for being a twat?

The only reason FIFA are getting uppity about the Pogba transfer is that none
of their committee members appeared to have received a slice of the money.

So Juventus didn't particularly want to sell Pogba yet they have to pay a fee to the agent anyway.... basically a finders fee when they didn't want to find anybody? They also didn't need to find anybody as Manchester United were banging on their door to buy back their old player. So it seems Juventus had to pay Raiola about 27million Euros to sell their player they wanted to keep? Nothing to see here. Move along please.....

United agreed to pay Raiola over £20m throughout the term of the contract in addition to what he got out of the transfer fee.

Even FIFA can see it's as dodgy as ****.

Would that be the same third party ownership that West Ham got fined a pittance for?
Where did Carlos Tevez end up going after that, again? I forget...

Anyone watching United beating a mighty Spanish pub team? If so, do yourself a favour and switch over to Lyon v Ajax which is shaping up to be as good as the first game.

We could have been playing tonight. Unfortunately our manager decided not to take Gent seriously. <doh>.

Lyon get 2 in 2 minutes both from Lacazette. 5 - 3 to Ajax as it stands at H/T.
