Look ... I thought I worked a minor miracle to get borough one...to get another would be a greater miracle than the one that led to Carlton Palmer winning England caps. This lot have no idea that rules permit them to score more than once per game...plus they are truely awful...and have the huge drag factor of stewart downing being their local hero!
Chelsea fans are convinced that John Terry was a better defender than Ledders because he won more trophies. Stephane Guivarc'h won a World Cup while Johan Cruyff didn't, so does that mean Guivarc'h is a better player - or does it mean that trophies have **** all to do with how good a player was?
Chelsea fans also think he's holier than Mother Teresa and eats Kryptonite for breakfast, so I don't take much notice what that bunch of Neanderthals think!!
In all honesty, whilst Ledders was class in his short burst on the scene and whilst it was unfortunate that he had ****ed up knees, you can't base ledders body of work and pick and choose him at his best against a defender like Terry who did it over many years. It would be like saying Diaby was one of the best midfielders to grace the league if he hadn't been injured. The career just wasn't there unfortunately. It's the same as those who put George Best ahead of everyone because he had a brilliant year or two. Rio, Campbell sure i would put ahead of Terry. Not sure you can put ledders ahead as he just hasn't played enough.
Appreciate that ur not wumming, but 268 club games is not a 'short burst' in anyone's language!! Ledley King was certainly a better all round footballer, as he was equally at home in MF as defence. In fact some of his best games for England were played there. He was (and is) a million times better human being, which in my books should be taken into account.
He played a lot more than i thought. In that case for some reason he has not been as good as i remember (probably more to less media recognition and a damp squib of a spurs side) as i watched football a lot less back then. Can't disagree with the part in bold.
Come on Leicester. I would like to see the English champions go through tonight. Don't rate their chances if Atletico score first - in fact, I don't fancy them if Atletico score at all. But they have a chance.
Well that would be a difficult one for him........ Rumour has it that Terry has R and L printed on each boot. And someone switched them in a penalty shoot out! Well at this time of national celebration it's good to remember his career high!!
