We have needed a replacement for AKCJ.
I have high hopes that Diego is that replacement.

Hmm...you have high hopes for him indeed. A true disciple of my dear friend AKCJ would have been arguing for the past 12 years that even if the ball did cross the line, the ref and linesmen weren't in a helicopter at the time and therefore how could they have known.

12 years, I thought it was last week the way you are going on <laugh>

Good performance from Leicester but they were only playing Liverpool at home.
Fancy letting Lucas mark Vardy. He was so slow he could have waited for a bus to catch that little rodent........and Leicester's back 6,or was it eight (?) just waited for Liverpool to give the ball away.

Nope, it would show a goal. Unfortunately all those years ago we had to rely on a ref and linesman who were literally in the other half of the pitch at ground level, do you really think they could see that?
Well every other ****er inside Old Trafford saw Carol hail that taxi to go fetch the ball back so yeah...I do think the mo fos could have seen it.

That's not true. There would be a linesman in each half of the pitch, so one should be in the right half. Equally, it wasn't a marginal decision - the ball was 3 feet over the line. Everyone (except the 3 officials) in Old Trafford saw a goal. If the linesman hadn't been thinking about how to spend a recent windfall, he'd have spotted it.

They literally weren't.

0:09 - Clattenberg is in Man Utd's half when Mendes shoots
0:30 - Linesman Ray Lewis is clearly at least twenty yards inside Man Utd's half and is following the ball as it heads towards goal
0:41 - Another shot of Lewis clearly well inside Man Utd's half, following the ball as it heads towards goal

You'd have more credibility if you started spouting ****e about the Bowling Green Massacre.

Just because there's a stupid goalline decision being discussed, have a more current one:

First against third in the Eredivisie. Why was it particularly bad? Because it's an OG by the keeper.
The ball doesn't cross the line from the initial header. He stops it and then pulls it into his body and over the line.
The ref's not going to give it at first, then his watch goes off to tell him that the ball's crossed the line.

I'm just going to quote this directly from the BBC gossip page...

Real Madrid will make a formal complaint to the Spanish league over what they believe to be biased reporting in the country's media.(Marca - in Spanish)

Quite right too.
Until La Marca muppets have biased reporting coverage for get Real Madrid from 99%
to 99.999% , the fight goes on.
