The top five clubs have spells where they can score regularly and can finish teams off. Utd consistently spurn chances. As good as Ibra is, he should have more goals - and nobody else scores when he doesn't. At least 12 points dropped at home in draws where Utd had many gilt-edged chances to win. Can't see the pattern changing. Utd nailed on for 6th.

I can't see Mourinho being a success at United. He's not the cocky little **** who pitched up at Chelsea all those years ago and the competition he's facing in Klopp, Pochettino, Pep and Conte aren't intimidated by him or foxed by his tactics.

If Arsenal replace Wenger and Koeman gets it together that would be 6 teams that have the capability of going toe to toe with United. I don't think he'll be able to withstand it. He's already showing all the signs of cracking up. I don't think he wants to live in Manchester and I don't think he's that good a fit with United's traditions and culture. In fact, of all the managers in the top 7 places, I think that he's the least suited to be United manager. Any of the others would be a better fit.

Hope you're right...think united were insane to make him their manager after what he did at Chelsea.
He took a very good team and because of his own vanity decided to wreck their season and is in serious danger of screwing united over.
Roughly £170m spent and he is in 6th moaning about refereeing decisions .
    Just embarrassing imho.
Genuine united fans deserve better than him.

Eden Hazard says he expects us to run out of steam.

He's aware that the Chavs are playing the other North London team on Saturday, right?

Maybe, but he's not worried about them. We've taken the piss out of 'New Chelsea' and they know it.

One day Hazard will put in a superb performance against Spurs that both
prevents them from winning the PL and has actual material benefit to Chelsky.

Not if it's Mourinho's Barnet. Seems to have chopped it off.

Brighton on the back foot at Huddersfield - who look at decent bet for the play-offs

EDIT: That's an understatement - 28% possession and 2 shots compared to 13

Now there's a video Valbuena would pay good money to keep from the public.

In light of Wenger's comment that he twice failed to purchase N'Golo Kante, yet ended up spending more on red card magnet, Granit Xakha, Sky have compiled a team made up of others Wenger has failed to bring to the Gooners. This makes him seem triply incompetent to my mind.

Firstly, he failed to sign them. Secondly, he's playing Bale and Ronaldo as wing backs. Thirdly, he's got them playing on the wrong wings. How's Bale going to cross the ball for Ibrahimovic with his right foot?

Will be hard for any club to beat the Wenger/Goon "at least I tried" list.

Got to watch Assou-Ekotto playing for Menz in France. Played very well.
Strange player.I always thought his body was on the pitch but his mind elsewhere!
Oh!......That 20 million player came on as a substitute for the opposition but they still lost.I think his name was Payette or something!

Why did it take Gary Neville about 50 viewings to notice Bellerin getting whacked in the face?
Don't think it's a foul, but it was really obvious what happened.
Glad they didn't risk him and subbed him straight away.

Perhaps sounds obvious but the teams that win the league tend to have had the balance of the refs decisions go there way. Certainly happened with Leicester last year and it might be happening with Chelski this. Certainly if they get the balance of decisions against Le Arse who themselves get decisions against "lesser" teams. Most most most certainly happened with SAF's ManU as we know. All we get from the pundits etc is of course bland and incorrect views like "it all balances out over the course of a season" (bollocks does it) or that the league is always won by the best team and saying refs have a say is just sour grapes. I suggest that refs have a far bigger effect than anyone believes, and once "momentum" has built up for a certain team, they are (unconsciously perhaps) even more likely to give decisions their way. Recently we've seen Hull not get a deserved penalty that could well have deprived them of two points which would have narrowed the gap and possibly put more psychological pressure on Chelski. If Rodwell had been sent off as deserved against us, maybe we win and that's another two points cut out of the gap. But I can't say those things because it's sour grapes. NO, it's about getting the fair and right result in a match!!!
