So many chances for both sides have gone amiss over the two legs. Are Southampton going to see this through ?
Incredibly wasteful finishing, but you'd expect one to go in eventually.

Pepe has also told them to piss off, as he's off to China in the summer, by all accounts.I'm trying to work out which is more satisfying: Los Ladrones getting dumped out of the Copa del Rey by Celta Vigo, or Los Ladrones pissing away €6m in legal fees to try and bully €20,000 in damages out of a Catalan TV station for, among other things, depicting Pepe as Hannibal Lecter - only for the Spanish Supreme Court to tell them to piss off.
It's a shame he's a goalkeeper, otherwise they could play this every time he scores...Pepe has also told them to piss off, as he's off to China in the summer, by all accounts.
Hebei China Fortune FC (seriously) have offered him about £250k p/w to join.
He'll be alongside Ezequil Lavezzi, Stephane M'bia, Gervinho's massive head and Ou Ya.
bloody well hope soThere's a certain element of justice in tonight's result. Liverpool have decimated Soton more than any other team in each transfer window, but the latter still take all the glory.
Oh well, 'next year' I suppose it will have to be...

The China league still haven't signed that "poster child" player still in
their prime that would have the massive PR effect.
What chance of say one of the current Barca front 3, CR7 etc ending up
there in the next 2 seasons ??
Could you narrow it down a bit, please?Wouldn't put it past the tax-evading toad at Barca though.
Dodging an estimated €150m in taxes by funneling them to the British Virgin Islands says that the Oily Rat isn't that interested in his image or reputation...Ronaldo strikes me as the type to have too much pride to ever make such a move, even at the very end of his career. He cares deeply about his image and reputation. Wouldn't put it past the tax-evading toad at Barca though.
