They must know that these bids are derisory, so why bother making them?
Their whole transfer strategy looks like a complete mess, to me.

It's because they don't have a clue what negotiating is. When we make an offer lower than the other club's valuation it's to start a negotiation, which by and large works out. When they make an offer lower than the other club's valuation they think it's the end of the negotiating process, then get arsey when the door is slammed in their faces.

It's not unsurprising, given their negotiations for a taxpayer-funded stadium was to meekly nod their heads when Seb Coent told them they would be his willing patsies for his large-scale fraud.

Citeh really haven't been that good. The Pornsters have just been awful. No fight - no nothing. Hopefully this will further damage their confidence and they spiral down into the relegation zone in the PL.
