"The result at Anfield, however, is a different story. Still peeved off about that, especially after seeing United create nothing yet win the game."

Why waste breath ?? They are not going to affect your PL campaign for the worst, are they.

Why is it still necessary to explain that when one team scores a goal and the other doesn't, the team scoring wins? Utd took a chance; Liverpool wasted chances or were thwarted by De Gea.

There are no points for artistic merit. I appreciate that Wenger hasn't grasped this for the past 10+ years, but it's still a fact. If you want it to count for something, get Arsenal to enrol for Strictly Come Dancing.

Yeah, cheers for the explanation. It's not like I didn't realise that myself.

As for the rest of your post, there's no way in hell you're going to get away playing like that for the rest of the season. I'm sure tonight you won't care, due to the opposition that you beat, but it was a pretty deplorable performance from United. It's been spelled out to you before and you don't seem to comprehend that there is no reason why teams who spend lots of money shouldn't be trying to combine good football with good results. Your team don't do either and it's why you won't be competing for the title under LvG. Enjoy fighting for our coveted 4th spot. Again. <ok>

Utd have been sh#%£, I agree, but the game today was never going to be a great spectacle. This fixture rarely is. Red Lion v Dog & Duck, as Gary Neville said last year. The ends justified the means today. Liverpool have shown that if you push forward against them, they can be very effective on the counter - City and Chelsea away, for example.

Off topic and with the utmost of respect, something I've been curious about... You're a United fan yet the significant majority of your contributions are on the Spurs and Barnsley(!?) boards.... Why is that?

No hidden agenda, nor a loaded question. As i said, mere curiosity.

LDLs' 606 love affair with Spurs is a long and tortuous journey.
I assume he goes to the Barnsley board as they give him an automatic "like"
each time he visits (hence his high "Likes Received" ) .

FFS how did you get 3000 more likes than messages!!! You are calling into question a very prestigious award. I know I have sweated over every like I have received, but now you demean it completely. This is how it must have felt in the 60s when the Beatles got OBEs.

Luke, De Gea is papering over the cracks. Otherwise, you'd be quite a bit further down the table. My bet is that The Dutch Robot & several of your players will be gone come summer.

I remember a poster with the same LDL moniker on the old 606 site... Figured he'd gone to the great wumfest in the sky along with Holte Legends.

The new coaching regime at Swansea appears to include Hugo's dad (masquerading as Gabriele Ambrosetti).

I'm sure he'd want to remind you that it's still 7-2 in titles and have you ever won the Cup with the big ears?

My favourite was how many years villa had finished above spurs...including the 30 or so years we weren't in the same league or division as them <laugh>
