I haven't found the reference to Lloris, kane and Eriksen. Have to keep looking, it must be there somewhere.
Chelsea's great for a good pay day, but when their players get a taste for honours and some kudos, - not to mention the climate -it's offski to Spain. This rumour would support the view that Bale is off to Utd with de Gea going the other way.
"It's good to see Mad Dog being given the very treatment that he likes to mete out on others." Oligarsky is a rank amateur compared to the Get real Madrid machine. The only thing he has that is state-sponsored is his filthy lucre.
Heard a bit of sports radio today re the Wet Spam season ticket prices - Brady was on 5 Live and TalkShite within a few minutes of each other, but none of the bits I heard mentioned the fact that Wet Spam are a "special case" due to having been subsidised by the government to the tune of hundreds of millions in terms of a free stadium at minuscule rent. With that advantage it's not surprising that they can do the honourable thing and bring down prices for the fans - which is how it has been portrayed - instead of the real issues of the (non-)legacy of the Olympic Stadium, and the fact that they won't be able to fill it. Feel particularly sorry for Orient - the actual LOCAL club, with Spam probably offering premier league season tickets cheaper than theirs! Not so much of a legacy for Orient then. Didn't the government also subsidise the City of Manchester stadium too - effectively subsidising another government?
That'd really wind me up if Bale joined you guys. The trouble he went to force through a move to Real only to return to England two years later and at another club other than Spurs is just a huge kick in the bollocks in my eyes. He was idolised here prior to going and I think returning to England so soon and joining another club shows a complete lack of respect.
I don't think that Bale will leave this summer, but I think he'll end up at a club in Manchester at some point. The Real fans idolise Ronaldo and anyone trying to do anything to upstage him is seen as a problem, for some reason. I don't often agree with Henry, but his celebration yesterday summed it up. All about him. Could be worse, though. Could be Adam Johnson. Three charges of sexual activity with a child and one charge of grooming. Sunderland's season goes from bad to worse and his career's probably over, too.
It's a ludicrous triumph of star power that Ronaldo and not Bale takes the free kicks for Real. I saw a stat that Ronaldo has failed to score from 46 straight free kicks. How many of his last 46 free kicks did Bale score from when he played for us? 23? It seemed like it. What the hell is grooming? Or do I not want to know? As far as I'm aware, it's an activity undertaken to make a horse or other creature neat and clean.
Er...not in this case. It's a nasty activity whereby an older man is setting up a young girl/boy for sexual purposes. Usually, it's done via the Internet, email, etc....
He even takes the ones that are more suited to a left-footer, which is ludicrous. Bale nicked his technique and improved on it, but it's all about the Ballon D'or and similar bullshit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_grooming It's basically preparing a kid for abuse. No idea how it relates to this case specifically, as it's quite a wide range of behaviour.
I get the impression Real Madrid don't want him, even though he's done fairly well. He doesn't seem too popular with the fans, who are fickle. And there's nothing the club likes better than bringing in yet more big name players to generate interest and to ensure the sins of the past are quickly forgiven. If Hazard arrives, where does Bale fit in? Bale doesn't strike me as the type who would easily embrace new languages and cultures and set off on a tour around Europe. If he moves, it's inevitable he will return to the PL and only three clubs can realistically afford him. He too will have certain demands only those clubs can meet. Chelsea under Mourinho won't sign him so it leaves the two Manchester clubs and I think he is a perfect fit for Utd, as much as you might not want to hear that.
Why not? Given that your scenario has Hazard going to other way, it would leave an obvious gap. He's lived in London already, his work rate is high enough to suit the manager and it would help the fans to get over the loss.
Another day and another load of arrogant tosh from Brendan. Now claiming no one is better than him to lead Liverpool. The arrogance of this man defies belief.
Brenda now claims that he will bring success to L'pool if he is "given the tools" Now, as far as my recollection goes, he was given £80 odd mill of "tools" las t summer, but pissed them up the wall on "tools" like Lovren! Perhaps L'Pool should consider getting rid of the tool who bought the last lot of tools instead? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...iverpool-Forceful-Transfer-Market-For-Success
I think Bale's problem at Madrid is/ was the pressure to perform to a crazy level, joining them for a world record fee - which is no fault of his own - the expectations would likely be to equal Cristiano in some way or another, and as good as he has been, he's not at Cristiano's level. He'll be a perfect fit for any club in the Prem, any club in the world in fact (bar Real it seems), that's why it'd be a massive blow to see him join another English side, because we know how good he is and sort of imagined that he wouldn't be gracing English soil for a good number of years, not be coming back in his prime and no doubt tearing us a new one when we faced him. If he does leave Madrid in the Summer, I pray PSG blow any English side out of the water.
I can't see Pool sticking with Brenda after the Summer, he got lucky with Suarez last season whereas this season he's spent £100m and has regressed. With Klopp available, I'd be amazed if their board didn't try getting him in.
