N' Zonzi is a good footballer, always been a fan of his style - At times he looks unconventional but a great Pulis signing.

Yeah, always thought he was good from the Blackburn days. I was thinking earlier that Chelsea could do with him as backup for Matic as Mourinho likes a physical player and Mikel's ****e.

I forgot fat sam initially signed him for Blackburn! Stoke have quite a few talented domestic based players that bigger clubs ignore while preferring to shop abroad.

Begovic is one that chose not to do a Vorm and come to us to sit on the bench. Mind you he did start out as Sorenson's backup when he arrived at Stoke.

Tony won't be happy. QPR with three lucky goals, West Brom respond by battering the QPR goal but just a freak result.

Thats the top four settled for the next 4 years, at least, unless Wenger leaves the goons and they replace him with a dud.

Which QPR goal was lucky? If they were lucky goals then so is every single goal ever scored and to be scored in the future. Yeah I understand you love Pulis, but come on don't be so blind.

And I don't agree with your sentiment with regards the top 4....a 2 game swing is all that is between us and 2nd place. Not bad for a team who has some kind of wage structure....can only spend by selling and have a massive stadium project on the horizon....rather that than pay **** players mind blowing wages for a start or be a billionaires little toy or spend 150 mill every window without making anything back just to get to the top 4.

Leicester deserved that, not just on their performance today but their general play as they (much like Burnley) have played some nice attacking football but the current bottom 3 are still favourites to be relegated as at this stage of the season all it takes is for any of the three teams to lose, the teams above win and a gap opens but if any team gets dragged down I'll like that to be Sunderland.

Is their general play better than our general play? I don't think so....so if anything we deserve top 4.....and Leicester deserve to finish 18th and maybe not 20th.

In fact we should be crowned champions as our general play isn't too bad considering who we are competing with in terms of financial fire power.

Which table are you looking at?

My bad...I should have said 3 games..however we would be 7 points off if we win today. The sentiment is still the same with regards to who we compete with and how we are faring <ok>

I think I said before that the important thing is this next 4(now 3), win them and we will make ground on the top 4 ahead of the sprint finish. Liverpool haven't helped us unfortunately but City play United next week and those top 4 sides all have big games against other top 4 sides in the last few games so points will be dropped. That's not to say we don't have a tough run in with City at home and Southampton, Stoke and Everton away but it's nice to know that some of those above us will be dropping points as a guaruntee, makes the 8/9/10 points(realistically it's 9/10/11 with GD) they are above us look more manageable.

It's all pretty knife edge stuff at the moment though, drop points in these next few and we can forget about top 4.

The Fenerbahce bus was shot at yesterday as the team was being driven to the airport from an away game.
The driver was hit and taken to hospital, though there are no reliable reports about his condition. Nobody else was harmed.
Crazy.

"The main thing I'm getting from this stats blast is that Southampton needed to sign a bunch of players last summer..."

And that Spurs have a squad with a guaranteed minimum number of PL points
in them (as Pochettino is looking like finishing on 69 pts as did the AVB/Timmy malarky) .

Our general play is terrible, Pochettinos tactics are flawed, he is responsible for the unorganised defence and once Eriksen or Kane fail to perform, it shows Pochettino for the average manager he is..BUT because of the big performances agaisnt goons and chavs (at home) as well as the impressive form of young players, fans excuse him due to "Potential". Potential for him to improve and that we're a young team which I can understand but that doesn't mean he is the right manager for us (which he isn't) and he is very lucky to have Kane, otherwise we would be battling it out with stoke and swansea.

Spurlock you don't have to agree, just like when fans never agreed when I said once we sacked Redknapp we wouldn't get back in the champions league. Most opinions are about playing "the long game" fans disagree in the short term but long term you get proved right (even when you want to be proved wrong) and we aren't getting back in the top four while Levy is owner and that may just be my opinion but I don't see any reason to think otherwise.
