Spurs were 3-0 up at West Brom....and I was still biting my finger nails.I guess that's because I've probably been a Spurs fan longer than many of you fellas!!!!!
bigsmithy, I felt safe once the penalty went in but at 0-2 I wasn't sure. How long have you been supporting Spurs?
Really surprised that Swansea beat Southampton. Thought that was going to be a routine home win. We're in touching distance of the Saints now. Shame about our upcoming fixtures.
"We're in touching distance of the Saints now." We're 8 pts behind Citeh with a third of the season to go. "Shame about our upcoming fixtures." Spurs are a top 5-6 club, so the fixtures come thick and fast for us. The spread of PL games for us against our PL rivals is far better this season than it has been over the previos few. February is an opportunity to damage a couple of them a bit.
NEVER have taken any notice of Palace and certainly not Bolton Spurcat, I repeat that I've never heard of him.....sorry. Even now I cannot name a palace player because for me they're on football's fringes and I just don't take any notice of them except when they play us of course.
Yes bigsmithy I think you're right, you HAVE been supporting Spurs longer than most of us and my other half concedes that.
Now then, there's nothing wrong with Punk Rock. Stuart comes from my part of London and is a good fella. Occasionally seen at gigs and always a sweetheart (as are all punks really). Not so long ago he was in the England team and still at gigs with no "Don't you know who I am?" nonsense. When he was starting out his career at Cov, and Forest he used to advertise his services as an electrician in the programme. Always saw him as similar to Graham Roberts and unfortunately neither were much in the management stakes. Nice bloke though.
Being a nice bloke hasn't kept him in employment though has it? Being a nice bloke as you said hasn't made him a good football coach so what's the point of your post?
