Borini off. Silly gesture of dissent and then a ridiculous studs up challenge. What a pillock.

Steve, happy City fan: Sobering times this Xmas at Anfield. If Chelsea win tomorrow they will have double Liverpool's points

Well I didn't see that coming. Thought Wenger had the line up right but the shape was awful. Still didn't see Arsenal dropping points from a winning position though, they're normally very good at seeing out games and nicking goals if needed. Good result for us though, GD behind Arsenal but 5 above Liverpool, not a bad place to be after 17 games.

Was thinking when Skrtel was injured, if he's concussed how the Hell do you tell? He looks vacant at the best of times. The real talking point has to be how Taylor was allowed to stay on the pitch in the earlier game, the doctors seemed to be far more concerned with patching up his cut than checking for concussion. I expect the media will ignore this once again though, they're only head injury experts when it gives them a chance to slag off AVB.

<laugh> Have you watched Arsenal over the last 8-9 years? Or even Anderlecht/Newcastle games in recent seasons?

Forgot about the Anderlecht one. Generally in recent years they have become a lot more resiliant though. They always seem more likely to turn around a game late on and less likely to lose a lead late on.

They've dropped 11 points from winning positions in the league this season.
