The Shankly memory is probably still alive and that's the hope Liverpool supporters still cling to I would say. Chelsea were 0-3 up at half time and went on to score five, oh if only we'd do that, I'd feel a lot more confident about the future.
"Jeez, how much more shyte can this man speak ?" Hart. Brenton. Pochettino. I have this mental image of Spurcat doing the football equivalent of Michael Douglas in Falling Down.
Just think of all the great managers who've paraphrased Star Wars over the years. ...nope, neither can I.
That's pure desperation, that is. Anyone who has to appeal to Mouser sentimentality is done for, in my book.
You've all probably seen this, but for those who haven't, it's well worth a look:- http://youtu.be/U11ezwurjOo Fantastic!
I can't get beyond "Jordan Henderson is undoubtedly the best passer in Europe" for laughing. Or did he say pisshead?
This and the line up(Gerrard and Johnson ) has made me instantly regret betting on Liverpool to win tonight. I think it will be another long night for them. It's been a blissful few years without Liverpool in Europe, roll on another night of cliches and talking about how they've won the European Cup more than anyother English team. I think I'll watch the Real Madrid game tonight instead.
I've seen you mention your bets a few times recently. May I recommend to you a few quid on Bristol Rovers to win the Conference. You should be able to get at least 6/1 at the moment. Barnet have led all season and are clear favourites, but Bristol beat Barnet last night and are both on and off the field, are a level above this division. Lump On .
Cheers I don't usually do season long bets so I'll probably just stick a few quid on them at the weekends. Would be nice to win something for a change
Shouldn't place too much credence in the Goons' win because it's exactly a year to the day since they last kept a clean sheet in the CL, coincidence yes but normal service will be resumed. (Almost wrote "Normal cervix).
As our Northern correspondent, is it a good scouse accent? Sounds more Mancunian at times, although that must be co-incidence?
