City's traveling appears to have drained them, but they're back in this now.
West Ham's opener was offside and the Amalfitano ran into the crowd after the goal, despite already being on a booking.

Nice to hear their delightful crowd chanting about "dirty foreign bastards" about a minute before Sakho put them two ahead.
Idiotic and hypocritical. Lovely combination! <laugh>

I'm sure he'd have tried that with Galatasaray or Besiktas fans in the away end <whistle>

If we better City's result against United I think that's the title as good as done unless City beat us in SW6. Not sure I see a potential 11 point gap being recovered, even as early as 6 weeks in. It all depends on the next two games as to whether there will be a genuine race or Bundesliga Mk 2 and a repeat of 2012/13.

I'm not sure about your maths, but in any event 11 point gaps have been made up from March, never mind October. I wouldn't be counting any chickens yet; Liverpool and Chelsea both contrived to give City the title last year.

City are easily capable of taking 25-30 points from a ten game spell. If Chelsea are a little off form and take 18 points say (W5 D3 L2 - hardly inconceivable), then a large gap can be reduced quickly without the wheels having to come off. There are 29 or 30 games - plenty enough time for a points swing.

Blimey.Spurs down below and West Ham possibly playing Real Madrid in the CL.Wake me up someone I'm having a nightmare!!!!!!?

Did anyone watch The Phil Dowd Show?

It's completely dominated by one central character, who takes centre stage throughout - a bit like The Phil Silvers Show, but without the humour.

Utd fan moaning about a ref?

The irony.

Given the overall response to the game, I'm guessing that Lidls is complaining about another ref making himself centre-stage, rather than decisions going against Utd.
I didn't watch it, but the general opinion seems to be that he gave them a lot of decisions, including a penalty claim being turned down, Ivanovic going off and something about a free-kick.

You did a Chelsea on Chelsea today Luke, well done. I love it when somebody gets Chelsea's luck against them. They're weakening a bit in the PL have you noticed, not as many goals going in.

The fact that you can name so many refs says it all to be honest...when I was growing up you wouldnt have been able to name more than 1 or 2 at most

United got the draw they deserved. No complaints from me, Mourinho once again too negative against a vulnerable opponent as was the case v 10 man City.

No one can - with a straight face - call this league the best in the world with Clattenburg, Dowd, Foy & Dean supposedly being amongst the better refs.

The officiating at yesterday's Clasico was exemplary despite that game being far more difficult to officiate.
