True, but that's resulted in massive changes in a short space of time, so we've got no continuity.
We've also seen various different approaches to training and discipline, which can't have helped.

**** Klopp. Rudi Garcia is the man we need. Maybe he can even bring back Gerivinho with him. Maybe.

Baggies made hard work of that, I felt when they were only 1-0 ahead at half time they'd hit a snag or two.

  5. ...or perhaps he'll be the real deal.

Why is it only us who, when we appoint a new manager, he immediately has a ****e season? What would any of us have given to have had the start that Saints have had? Why does it never, ever, happen for us? Aren't we supposed to have the better squad/stadium/budget?

Because HIAG Spurs were once England's top team and therefore had a top manager. The tradition of that remains with the name of Totttenham as it does with any former top team. To recreate the glory Spurs need a top name back in charge again ie Harry Redknapp. Yes he's not as good as the top names of the past but is still a top name nontheless. City have a top name and the old success is coming back same as Chelsea(Luckily for them) and so that's what we need, it has nothing to do with budget. Southampton aren't exactly a team with a big tradition of success so it's relatively easy for them to have a purple patch or two so Poch and Koeman improve them for a season or two. Let's get a top name and the old succss will come back. Some of the coaches we've had have been nobodies and so nothing comes our way, Christian Gross ffs. The season is still young and what matters is the end not the start.

Anyone think more than 70 pts will be needed to finish in 4th place this season ??
So much inconsistency at the moment from all the usuall suspects.

I think with the top 2 on another planet and the rest fairly evenly matched we could see a very close run for the remaining CL places with 4th possibly under 70pts

Southampton haven't had to deal with the Europa League and they've only played two teams that finished in the top half of the table last season, both of whom they lost to.
We've already had to face three of last season's top four, two of which were away from home and half of our opponents were top half teams.
    We also beat them.

Another goal for Aguero, scoring in the fifth game in a row. City 1-0 ahead in Moscow.

Ah, poor city...fancy having to go away from home and have an incompetent referee who gives the home team a bollocks penalty

firstly you mention city and Chelsea in the same paragraph as it has nothing to do with budget.

As for it being easy for Southampton having a purple patch...I suspect you mean that they aren't used to success..so anything more or less is a success for them whilst we have hit the heights of English football so for us to have success we need a massive name in football management to take us up and beyond that level?

Koeman the player has had more success in his little toe than all our squad put together..so such a mentality is what we need? if he came to spurs he would do what the others do....feck all.
plus I never understand why a tradition or success created 40 plus years ago has any affect on any player we buy since almost none of them are Spurs fans I bet....

The problem is we buy heartless pansies....overpaid prima donnas...usually from the bottom of the barrel after the big fish have had their pick first.

The mentality at Spurs stinks...the philosophies that run the club are warped...we think we have a right to achieve so much...but we don't in reality...that's why teams that have something to prove and clubs that have something to prove such as Southampton,Swansea..etc etc..come from the lower leagues and seem to overtake us..they certainly seem more hungry....yet we at Spurs still bang on about things like..we are one of 4 teams ever to have played in every PL season blah blah....

the thinking of those that run spurs is rubbish and has been going on for 2 decades so much that now it is part of our DNA.

So Tony Fernandes has apologised for the embarrassment caused by the public row between Harry Redknapp and Adel Taarabt.

I have negligible time or sympathy with Taarabt, he is a conceited and lazy individual. However, no worker should ever ever have to hear their boss publicly call him the "worst professional I have ever known".

Not good form from either of them, but Harry is old enough and experienced enough to know better.
