You have to wonder if AW knows what he is doing.....

Personnel change, our tactics don't. Early days though... Wenger may buy one or two more and might change what we do on the pitch. But early indications last weekend and this don't suggest much evolution from last season.

We're incapable of creating chances against this Everton team, it's the same every season

....

Are Arsenal trying to manage their budget until they know whether they're into the Champions League group stage, I wonder?
They've got plenty of quality in their attacking midfield options, but they're short of a centre-half and a striker, at least.
A top-notch holding midfielder wouldn't go amiss, either. Seems a bit of an odd way to go about things, to me.

They're not out of this one yet though, unfortunately. They haven't played well and deserve to go behind, but Everton blew two leads last week.
An early goal and this would be completely up for grabs, again.

Dude, our team is already full of enough stars that we should be a better team than we are. I don't think further signings will make a jot of difference. We'll still play the same way with the same tactics whatever the opposition. And therefore we'll still beat most teams in the league but still get easily beaten by most of the top 5/6 away from home. Standard 4th place for us again this season.

Christ ... the whinging about the offside on their board...the truth is wenger has always defended arsenal getting the benefit of the doubt ... there have been plenty of occassions of him doing this over the years...he says the attacking sides should be rewarded...so why not now?

To be fair... it's only Oxo moaning about the offside so don't exaggerate it. Everton should be 3-0 really... completely dominating.

Just plugged in, so was Everton's offside? As it's against Arsenal then that's ok. So Chelsea get a deflected second and Leicester could have gone one up but Lawro said two nil and he's right so we move on. I never crow at half time as Arsenal could come back as thety did last week but it was a stuttering performance against Palace so being behind at Everton doesn't surprise me.

Everton at Boodison Park are quite a tough proposition.
Only teams that have superb attacks turn them over. And any opponent who
lacks any backbone or resolve in MF tend to have a torrid time.

True, but he seems to have forgotten decisions like Arteta's goal against QPR a couple of seasons ago, when he was standing on the goal line and it won you the game.

Giroud on at HT.
Debuchy kicks out and doesn't receive any sort of card. No consistency. If Naismith had gone down and rolled about, would the Frenchman have been sent off? Poor.

Sanchez, the 32 million pound flop replaced at half time for the unit that is Giroud.
