Yes, that's my thinking, too. After The Smug One gets ripped a new one from trying to play mind games with Van Gaal - and coming off a very poor second best - Poch could be a massive shoe-in at Chavs. Pulis will wait his turn to be sacked by Levy, in the meantime.
How **** is the Man United team? That has to be one of their weakest sides for years. Smalling, Blackett ?? Lingaard to name a few.
I'd love them to lose and have all that optimism burst straight away. A Man U fan was saying to me the other day how mediocre our squad was. I said it still finished above your lot and pointed out a whole host of mediocre players in their squad. He's full of it and makes me hate United so I'm glad they are losing.
Great first half of the season Didn't expect it. Didn't expect that line up from Van Gaal either, though. Swansea deserve their lead and it was a great finish from KISY That booking for Dyer sums up one of my pet peaves in football. Herrera wasn't in a position to shield the ball, he purposely stepped away from the ball and into Dyer's challenge causing the contact. How it can be a foul, let alone a booking is beyond me but that's what the refs give these days.
I read a piece recently about how Man Utd's defence was better than ours because they conceded less 8 goals than us last season. Leaving aside any points about the way that we conceded heavily in certain games distorting the figures, which is debatable, they simply don't have the same back four or five. Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand played 68 games between them in that campaign and now they're playing more defenders without replacing two of those that have departed. I think that van Gaal will be pushing for more signings after this game, regardless of how it finishes. He can't be happy with this, surely?
Super Gylfi! Haha, I thought they'd struggle this season and certainly today with Chico going but they've been brilliant in attack and just about done a job at the back.
Apparently, United have never lost to Swansea at home in the league. Looks like Van Gaal is already breaking records at United!
KISY gets a yellow for pulling Fellaini's shirt, while Dean misses Fellaini smacking him in the mouth....!
His movement, strides are like Ledley King. Looks composed but if Utd don't sign a centre back then him, Jones and Smalling will be the worst trio of centre backs Utd have had for over 20 years with their best centre back (injured) Evans who is average at best. Although Van Gaal did say he always starts off slow for the first three months at a new club . They desperately need a top centre back.
