Try "Kiss me Slowly."

A girl I knew won our "world's worst pickup line" contest with

"C'mon, just once. Real quick."

From my limited experience women have this strange preference for things going on for a while.

Wise words on the crumpet department. Keep it up .
My old Jock mate Ace face , up at them sweaty Archie "pants down " Macphee likes to play his trump card first.

A recovering banged up Sid, after a evening at the Margate "Talk of the Town" grab a granny night.
No luck but looking forward to a black pudding breakfast courtesy of the Kentish constabulary .

Outstanding signing for them. They are building a very good team full of exceptional talent.
Sanchez is on a different level than our toothless Spanish Donkey,
With that big German also on the way they will tear us to pieces.
They are showing us to spend money wisely .

What a singing for Arsenal. All those jokes a couple of years ago about 'mind the gap'. We're as far away as we've ever been. We can only dream about making a signing like that. When we had the momentum we signed Louis Saha!!

The "Levy Masterplan "
We have more chance of Teflon Dan walking on water than being a team going places.
No will just empty words, well done Arse , maybe Lewis will pop his cloggs soon and a new cavalier
ethos may return. The pain of failure does get easier .

You do realise that when Levy took over we were half a league behind Arsenal.

Now we are quite close behind and he gets criticism

In the present money climate Spurs could easily have faded into mid table. We are still knocking on the door thanks Levy. <ok>

Even under another parasite such as Sugar we finished twice above the Arse.
Under Levy never.

So if we finished 8th next season and Arsenal 10th that would somehow be a success for Levy?

Between 1971 and 1996 we generally only finished above Arsenal when they were mid-table. Since 1996 they've never been out of the top 4. Nevertheless this is the first period since the 60s when we've been challenging Arsenal most seasons in the top 5. Similarly we've never had such consistently high league finishes since the 60s.

They only way we are likely do better is get an even richer parasite as owner! Is that the policy of the Tottenham Popular Front?

No a policy of adventure not frugal tedium .
We still finished higher under Parasite Sugar and believe it or not we use to win things, I understand many of us have forgotten or have become
brainwashed by mediocrity. Do not worry the TPF will bring the Sunshine back and we will hold hands together in the spirit of everlasting rapture
and unbound pleasure.

Division 1 1980 to 1990 seriously begs to differ.

Er... I'd settle for winning a trophy! :D

You are right - that was our second best period pre-Levy. But we still finished 2 places lower than Arsenal on average.

The bragging rights split 50:50 during that period.
But every time Spurs finished above the Goons, that was at least 4th place in the table.

Keep up the great posts.

And to think I've only been on the Mayan Riviera. The Kentish Riviera sounds divine.

Alexis Sanchez is a great signing for them to be fair, like Tots said he's unproven so hopefully he'll find it hard to adapt but if I'm honest I can't see it. He's a guy that uses his speed and skill to get into the right positions and finishes a few good chances, to me he has perfect attributes to be a success in England. He also flourishes when he's the main man, as we've seen with Chile and seeing as Barca have Messi and Neymar, he'll be joining Arsenal as the star attraction (unless Ozil decides to be worth his £42m).

Yup. Anyone might wash out, but I'd be shocked if Sanchez did. He's got toughness besides outstanding talent. I've been a Chile fan for a decade and if I hadn't sworn I wouldn't let a contrary word cross my mind till the first game, I would not be happy. The truth is I'd take Sanchez over Suarez in a heartbeat. He's much younger, fan-friendly, and just might be as talented. The big question: is he going to go back to being Sanchez, as he used to be, or continue to be Alexis, as he became in Barcelona?

The next question is...so, when will Ozil leave for half of what Arsenal paid for him?
