QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt, 24, is set to return from his loan spell at AC Milan rather than make his San Siro move permanent after struggling to adapt to life with the Italian outfit. (Source: TalkSport) Or, to translate this into what really happen... The formerly arrogant Taarbt is being sent back to QPR with his tail between his legs after it being proved to him that he is not good enough even for the ****e Italian league, and that his career - if he still has one - lies in the Championship.
Surely it's all bollocks with Yaya? The guys on like £200k a week, is a birthday cake or handshake really that meaningful to him? Pay me £200k a week and I'll let you kick me in the bollocks once a day and smear a dodgy, fungus infested cake on my face.
I hope the twat is that sensitive, because he might take a pay cut and come to us. Could be worth a cheeky bid?
Ah, it's fun to watch his reputation slide further and further down the slippery slope. Bet he comes out and says Milan weren't good enough for him
Its all about "respect". Toure was recently talking about a lack of respect for African players and i get the impression he believes he should be viewed as being one of the worlds leading players, up there with Xavi and Iniesta in their prime but Toure isn't in their class. He is similar to RVP, in the sense they look world class in the premier league because they suit the league but they aren't ever going to be viewed as truly great players outside of the premier league.
Can I say on behalf of everyone at Spurs a belated very happy birthday. If you join us, there will be jelly and ice cream every year
two things Yaya's agent has complained about in the past, there are not enough shirts with his name on in the club shop and the picture of him outside the stadium isn't big enough!!
Rumours are that Fabregas might return to Arsenal (the club he turned his back on when he was their captain, not even bothering to turn up at their last match in the season that he left for his dream club). Now, no longer good enough to play for Barca, it looks like he's trying to engineer a big money move back to the PL. However, I cannot see him returning to Arsenal, not unless (a) that club really has no pride, or (b) AFC want to fall foul of the FFP rules. Nah, I simply cannot see it. Sure, he'll probably return to the PL, but it'll more than likely be with United, to join up with his old pal RvP (another player who turned his back on Arsenal).
It's looking like Atletico - not pretty, but very effective. Same can be said for QPR - they owe much to the resilience of Dunne and Hill. I feel sorry for Derby - I always do for the 3rd placed team, but more so when they had such a good chance to win the game today and lost because of a late mistake by their captain.
best team won, sick of all this boring defensive football, it was like watching Chelsea all over again, justice was done in the end Pleased for Bale, all I've seen on this board all season is people saying players need time to settle in and adapt blah blah. Bale has gone to a completely different league, different country, cant speak the language and banged in 21 goals in his first season including a goal in the champions league final, have that Lamela/Paulinho/Soldado
He's actually been slaughtered by the Madrid fans all season for being a waste of money and had a terrible game before his goal, despite joining a largely settled side with a top manager. A more apt comparison might be Modric, who was voted flop of the year in his first campaign out there, only to become a key part of the side now.
