arsenal 6-0 lyon.

man utd 3-1 barcelona

liverpool 1-1 malaysia all

man city 1-4 real madrid

what does this say??

Diddly squat. Pre-season is about fitness and PR, nothing else matters. Voronin, Pacheco and Aspas looked like world beaters for us in pre-season.

Without seeing every game can't say. But in terms of where the new signings are and how they fit into the squad, it provides some insight.

It also means more on the opposition you're playing, the players they put out and the nature in which the game is played.

Yeh sure if you can tell me what that has to do with the post you've quoted.

Nothing really just clicked on reply before you guys turned into the scousers and proclaimed this year your year based upon your win against barca.

P.s. treble replied the same way

I know what you mean Treble, but last year we beat Inter, Roma, City, Liverpool and Madrid. Remember the first league game?

Mate I dont get what me posting about getting to find out about our new signings has to do with how we started last season. I didnt make any judgement on whether they were good, bad or indifferent. But at least you can see how they fit within your side and the plans the manager has for them.

I know what you meant, but was adding a cautionary note that the games mean little in the full scheme of things. By the same token, I am greatly lifted by the way we passed and kept possession against a team that play that way and felt the new players fitted in like they have been with us years.
