  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

Diego Costa's game by numbers vs West Brom: 0 goals 0 shots 0 aerial duels won 0 take-ons completed 1 yellow 2 fouls

My view of van gaal's part is as follows:

1. He was up there not drunk as wums would have it but he was out to get next season rolling now. I think utd players will come back to a new squad but ready to challenge for the title next year. I really do.

2. He was sending a message and getting the whole playce going as a team. no player will be thinking i'm the one for the chop if they have any ego so they were all cheering.

3. They all know he will nail some uguys and have no problem doing it.. he is the man end of now.

Contrast this to LFC.

1. Dissent in the ranks.

2. player booed off stage and nailed on to leave.

3. No discipline, no fear of manager, all looking and wondering when's he going.

In short LFC fans better get ready for a long year next year.

LvG has a history of alienating players, employers, media .... if utd are winning, all that's ok, if they're not, then it becomes a patience test. Ruling by fear is a style of management that only works while you're winning as well, do the best managers rule by fear ??

Worked for Fergie and Man Utd for twenty-six years <whistle>

So Van Gaal has done a Fergie and told an England international manager not to pick Shaw for the U21 tournament and like a good little boy Southgate has obliged.

Is it any wonder England can't win **** all at international level with pricks like Southgate in charge.<laugh>

PS, looking at some of those chosen in midfield I'm surprised Ibe never got a shout.<whistle>

He hasn't picked Sterling either (maybe Pellegrini had a word). Or Barkley. Or Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Shaw? Sterling? Barkley? The Ox? One thing in common there, they've all been **** this season!

Dear oh dear, so much anger and indignation from you Shteve.

There was no order given by Rodgers that Sterling shouldn't have gone with the England squad if chosen, by contrast Southgate was told to not choose Shaw because he needed a rest.

Bit of a difference there and its plain to see.

*publicly*

Martinez said he didn't want Barkley to go as well tbf.

I listed a group of players who also weren't selected. The anger and indignation is, as ever, yours Page! You see conspiracy in and are offended by everything!

Anyway it would have been pointless for Rodgers to say anything about Sterling. No one listens to him, certainly not Sterling!
