No way, he meant it Trebs.

United are 11 points behind the London side with five games left to play, but Van Gaal believes people can’t say the trophy is going to Stamford Bridge just yet.

“It is not definitely gone because we can still win 15 points and they can still lose 18 points,” he said.

He's not very good at mind games.<laugh>

Page if you think he's being serious with that remark about 15 and 18 pts.... <laugh>

Anyway you're only saying that bcos Liverpool can't mathematically win the title now <whistle>

You did last year as has been proved this year but you have still spent £120mil to go back to where you were <ok>

So are United under or over achieving this season?

If you're prepared to accept that this is 0 year+2 Utd have improved but there are some Utd fans that still think the club are continuing their status as under Fergie's time Utd so in that context they have under achieved the last two seasons, its because of the arrogance of past glory that some still see the club for what they were rather than what they are now.

Niether, we are about where we should be at present. Next year i expect a real challenge for the Premiership, a good domestic cup run and at least to get into the CL knockout stages.
